A typical weird film

Film trailer, poster of a pregnant bride and two grooms are showing the quirkiness of film which is intriguing but film is pure bore. Lead boy and girl meet each other while bumping in coffee shop, how can one think such type of repeated and stale scene at this time!? If you can't conceive better then leave this one. Boy thinks she is rich as she believes on boy's lie that he is rich, again an old premise. Love blossoms while girl stays in boy's room and he insists to sleep on roof top alone because sleeping with a girl in a room is out of box for him. Girl finds her pictures in boy's room. That much was very enough and unusual for girl to fall for him according to writer director. Though this boy doesn't mind making love to her before marriage yes if there was any love! Boy convinces girl's parents by cooking pudding and repairing electricity in their house. Major problem that both lead pair looks so mismatch for each other. You never feel that they are in a bit of love. Another track is also very weird but taken for granted like a prince of Riyasat, typical strict Dadima's boy agrees to marry a nine month pregnant girl because it was auspicious for Riyasat according to a fake looking astrologer!? Enough is enough. Prince bandages his favorite horse in front of girl keeping horse leg on his thigh, it was suppose to be that he was used to of doing this but he was so uncomfortable while wrapping bandage around horse leg and surprisingly where was the wound! Somehow invisible. I didn't get what was the need of this scene, just because Prince was sharing sad story of his parents with girl!! So horse wound was metaphor!? Only one scene or precisely shot is cute when Sanjay Mishra offers coat to girl's father while liquor was hidden inside. Pre climax emotional scene makes you laugh and climax scenes of vermillion applying beats any daily soap in treatment. Performance wise this film also proves that always acting doesn't come in DNA, because both lead pair, Vivaan Shah and Akshara Hasaan's parents are institute of acting but here both are as flat and irritating at places as anyone could have been. Sanjay Mishra makes you smile at least by his improvisations and expressions. Rest are somehow OK except Kavita Verma as Palak. She is notably bad.

Don't miss

Sometime unique films left unnoticed because of low star value and no publicity. This movie is an example. Last week afternoon I just happen to see this movie on tv and it hooked me in first five minutes. And gradually I realised this movie has unique subject and after finishing the movie I was happy and sad also. Happy because I saw the movie and sad because sometime we miss real good stuff like this. I really liked the way the director has tried to resolve family relationships in such a simplistic but humorous way.
