This movie is classified as a rom-com, but it's a deep one. It embroiders on a particular story between two twenty-something urban women, to reveal characters and situations and quiproquos between the two of them. Staying nice and sweet, it enlightens the character's flaws, and the strong bonds between them, up to the point where that friendship solves those situations, allowing (hopingly) each of them to grow in wisdom.
Add to this that the photography is solid and some scenes are really beautiful (I might add that there could have been a bit more effort on this side, but that's my bias) - and that the soundtrack is nice and rock, that's a really enjoyable movie to watch, wether or not you're into romcoms. You'll spend a good moment with these two - and the crowd around them.

I loved this film. The cast is so cute and the story is unique while still totally relatable. The characters are very real. It was shot nicely and has good production value. The writing keeps you wanting to find out what will happen next. I recommend having a watch!
I stumbled on this movie randomly as I was going through other movies and decided to give it a watch. I don't regret this decision cause I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I love how Chelsea Morgan and Bryn Woznicki (both Writers, Directors, and Main Cast in the movie) explore the complexities of friendship and romantic relationships where one or both of those involved in these complexities are not yet fully accepting or conscious of their sexuality. I also love some of the friendship and romance scenes and moments in the movie.
This said, the ending was, I feel, a bit too rushed and an emotional disappointment. I mean, given how well the plot was development in terms of building very optimistic expectations for Nicole (Bryn Woznicki) and Rachel's (Chelsea Morgan) future as regards their friendship and/or romantic connection, I think that the choice to end the movie they way it was ended was a poor one and may explain the brunt of the negative ratings that the movie has. Unless it was based on a true story that Morgan and Woznicki were trying to be faithful to or unless they intended for there to be a sequel to the movie, I find the way the movie was ended quite unnecessary. (I won't lie that this opinion is partly based on the fact that that ending did hurt me lol... but my point stills stands.)
All in all, I recommend this movie to all looking for a fun and intimate woman-woman LBGTQ+-based romantic drama that avoids most of the tropes of the genre. But if you're not one to take unhappy endings well, you might want to think twice before watching it for its beautifully-done scenes and moments.

A coming of age film about girls in their 30's? Okay... The movie centers around two people that seemingly mostly care about themselves and their own feelings. There are a few light comedic moments, but mostly just self-pity and agonizing. The description explains what the movie wants to be, however the execution doesn't quite get there.
I am sorry but I really cannot understand the reason why people with absolutely no talent, no sense of humor get the funds to shoot so much nonsense!
Sheesh!
