They're not afraid to show the real life situations and are almost completely uncensored. The American version of "botched" is nothing compared to this. Just wish Netflix carried more seasons!
I hate to say it, but I'm almost GLAD these jackasses got botched bodies! Every single person could have simply gone the proper route (example: lose weight via diet and exercise vs. bypass surgery, leading to the necessity of removing dozens of pounds of skin flap to be removed). The more episodes I watched, the more I internally laughed at these dolts for choosing to ruin the faces/bodies that G-d gave them.
NO EMPATHY and NO SYMPATHY.
NO EMPATHY and NO SYMPATHY.
The allure of these types of shows is to give viewers a peek into the lives of the gory, gross and unfortunate mishaps of those who are brave or vain enough to require or opt for aesthetic/ cosmetic surgery for whatever their reasons. We already know what we're getting ourselves into... the name of the show gives it away. What we don't need as viewers is the CONSTANT narration with the tone of voice attempting to make each upcoming scene seem like it's going to be a never-before-conjured-in-the-minds-of-humans scenario, that could and surely might end in the patients never recovering, with a dramatic backing score to support it. There should be a simpler, less invasive narration that doesn't emphasize the crap out of the title of the show, "BOTCHED UP BODIES," every fifteen to twenty seconds. The content is what it is, but it could be a little more intimate with regard to emotions of the patients and the surgeons. I truly dislike the set up of jumping from patient to patient for such a long period of time that the viewer essentially forgets about who they even are, as well. Viewers will sometimes see five or six other patients' stories and then revisit someone they've forgotten about only to get an unsatisfying less than one minute recap of the situation that was built up for seven long minutes.
I just started watching this series. And as far as I can tell, all of the doctors are wearing surgical masks while operating. And they are also wearing gloves.
There are many episodes showing surgeons not maintaining a sterile environment (i,.e, no masks or gloves). The show is awesome but there are surgeons on here that should lose their license. They are not wearing masks during surgery. Second, no gloves when touching healing wounds. RUN patients from these doctors, they show their patients struggling with healing and infection...they gave it to them!
