Teeming with the remains of a human presence, the earth appears to be ending. Cat is a solitary cat, but after a massive flood destroys his home, he seeks safety on a boat with other animals and must cooperate with them in spite of their differences. They traverse the difficulties and perils of adjusting to this new environment while traveling alone in a boat through amazing overflowing landscapes.

In a lush utopia once inhabited by people, a violent cataclysm has erased all traces of human existence. In this enchanting prison, now hemmed in by powerful flood currents, a self-dependent black cat reluctantly embarks on a challenging quest to find dry land.
