I wish there were a separate listing for Season 2 of this anthology horror show, but this will have to do.
Not sure what happened but the quality of this second season blows Season 1 out of the water; production values, location, plot, acting. While it might seem there is the usual derivative disguised killer theme at work, there is guesswork on hand for the audience to make their own decision, clever use of flashbacks, and misdirection. Really, well done all involved. A good ride.

Ignore the reviews on here. Wait til a nice late night. Turn off the lights and dive in to a modern day take on the slasher genre so many of us loved during the 80s. You are not going to get Oscar winning performances. Ummm. It is called Slasher. But it's worth checking out.
I wasn't expecting much from these series, thought it may be a poor American Horror Story, but it is actually pretty good!
The stories and characters are independent to each series with some of the same cast.
All three series tell the story of different slasher serial killers. The stories are a lot more complex and unpredictable than expected which is great.
Series 1 is about The Executioner copycat murders based around the seven deadly sins and related to the original murder 30yrs before. The casting is great, good to see Katie McGrath in a leading role.
Series 2 is about a serial killer targeting a group of former summer camp workers related to a killing there 5yrs earlier. Almost has a I-know-what-you-did-last-summer vibe.
Series 3, the most recent, is the most enjoyable in my opinion, the most proper slasher. The story is around tenants of an apartment block being murdered, somehow linked to a murder the previous year. The ensemble cast is fantastic, dialogue is good and the whole series is bingeworthy.
All in all, I'm really looking forward to what season 4 has to offer.

I started watching from season 3 and now I am going to continue for sure! It was really entertaining even though I wasn't so happy when it was revealed who the killer was but it kinda made sense... Looking forward to watching other seasons!
Finally we got a new worthy old school slasher tv series.
this is how those should be done.
A great old school formula with plenty of gore strong characters and scary moments which will leave you wanting more.
I watched so far first two seasons and they succeed where AHS failed.
thank god this was not another failed black parody of the 80s slasher genre like AHS was.
when u make "slasher horror" make it right.
don't make a foolish black comedy with idiotic supernatural elements like they have done at least in the similar "camp horror" season 9 of AHS.
thank god "slasher" series are SERIOUS and first two seasons were awesome.
especially season 2 was like re-watching the Friday the 13th series and that was a very nostalgic and great feeling all the f13 fans got when they watch this season 2 tribute to little Jason and him mom....LOL
i'm sure season 3 will be great too and I can't wait to buy the dvd's and blu rays to watch this again and again with plenty of extras.
