If you want to watch a movie with a plot driven by a conflict that could be solved by basic communication, you will love this film.
This movie was playing during the hour+ wait I had in a doctor's office. I haven't been so annoyed by the character writing in a film in recent memory. All the problems in this film could be solved before the film even starts by communicating and acting like emotionally-mature adults, and I get no joy out of watching two people fight over constant misunderstandings and miscommunications. I don't think it was the impression the film was trying to give me, but I felt like the wife genuinely disliked her husband as a person and had no desire to hear him out on anything, and the husband felt like a doormat and was written with about as much depth as one. I know I shouldn't come to a Hallmark movie expecting quality, but this one was just no fun at all to watch. The diegetic music was also generic and grating, but again, it's a Hallmark movie so that's to be expected. The only thing I can compliment are the actors, most of them were giving it their all.
TLDR: not the worst Hallmark I've seen, but pretty close. I had very low expectations and I was still disappointed.

This is a cut above the usual daytime movie simply because of the excellent acting by Teri Polo. She made me believe in the hurt, busy, wife who had somehow lost her marriage. Her characterization was top quality acting. The other actors were adequate, nothing stood out from their performances. I did like the supposed setting of Camden, Maine, but I'm not sure that's where this was filmed. All in all, a very pleasant movie to view with some unexpectedly tender moments and real feeling that surprised me. It's fun to be surprised by a Hallmark movie which are usually quite predictable. Like I said at the beginning, kudos to Teri Polo. She made the movie for me.
Not bad. A bit sappy at times, but definitely better acting than their usual films. What was really irksome though, was the inability of Hallmark people to use their brains. They filmed it on the west coast of Canada; rainforests, Pacific Ocean, Haida art, etc etc and the morons at Hallmark placed the story in Maine. If they insist on having the story line be in the USA, then place it in Washington State, where it looks similar.
Boring Saturday afternoon, rainy day nothing to do. Fell asleep on couch, woke up and couldn't find the clicker.
The movie in mention was playing. Nice scenery. They said that it was Maine but I figured out quickly that it was my home town - Vancouver BC. I noticed the two main characters were my age which doesn't happen often when you're 50.
Anyhow found my clicker, checked what else was on which turned out to be zilch. Turned it back to Love, Alive.
I'll admit, I fell asleep again, woke up wondering where I was. After coming to, I was trying to remember what I was doing before. It finally dawned on me that I was watching Love, Again, and I must have fallen asleep while watching.
Luckily I have a feature on my tv that allows me to rewind. So I rewinded it to where I'd estimated that I had fallen asleep, watched the rest.
I must say that it was a little corny but all in all i quite enjoyed it. The husband wasn't bad looking, and it ended nicely because the couple decided to get back together.
Thanks for reading.

As a young couple Me 18 my wife 15 I can tell you True loves ALWAYS PREVAILS, I still laugh at all those people that said our marriage would not last 3months. well most of the have been divorced some more than once. YES we are still married 47 YEARS LATER. May be that is why I loved this one because I know how hard it can get some times but if you will let it LOVE ALWAYS PREVAILS.
