This is a very stupid movie that encourages the ills of a patriarchal society. I am very disappointed in every woman involved in the creation of this nonsense.

I cannot believe this movie, what was the message? Don't work hard and don't be educated because no man will want you? Come on.

Reality check/no happy ending.

The plot comes very close to the ills that many African American women suffer with romance/marriage/career and settling in relationships, by focusing on a particular incident that may or may not be simular to an actual occurance. So sad but statistics prove that there are many unmarried black women in America. This movie is refreshing because it deals with this reality which so many face. Hopefully its the start of addressing this problem in our society while acknowledging the facts so we can strive towards a solution. Then we can heal.

Everything about this movie was bad- bad characterization, bad casting, terrible plot, terrible dialogue. Please don't watch it. It's everthing but a good movie.
