After a breakup, NYC workaholic Jessica moves to London planning on being alone. "The only solution is to take a job in London, where she plans to live a life of solitude like a Bronte sister." But she meets Felix who causes her to reconsider finding love again. Too Much is an ex-pat rom-com for the disillusioned who wonder if true love is still possible, but sincerely hope that it is. Nicole Kidman is doing what medical examiner Kay Scarpetta does — examine things — in a first look at Prime Video’s upcoming adaptation of the Patricia Cornwell novels.

Kidman’s Scarpetta can be spied at the 45-second mark in the Prime Video sizzle reel above, followed by a glimpse of Academy Award and Emmy winner Jamie Lee Curtis as Kay’s sister Dorothy.

Gyllenhaal — who was mistakenly referred to as Vaginal Cream — had to navigate through a series of operators who first assumed he just had missing luggage. As soon as they learned he switch flights, he was sent to someone who was even less helpful.

Elton John is going out with a bang.

The musician played his last U.K. gig at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday night, with the show being watched on BBC One by the biggest ever overnight audience for a Glasto performance, the broadcaster confirmed.

According to Variety, the 76-year-old had a peak overnight audience of 7.6 million and an average of 7.3 million with a 48.9 percent share.

That wasn’t the only BBC viewing record broken over the weekend, with a whopping 21.6 million people — 7 percent more than last year across linear TV — watching artists perform to 200,000 festival-goers having the time of their lives on Worthy Farm.

A record amount of people tuned in to watch the Artic Monkeys’ headlining set on Friday night, with the band nabbing a peak audience of 2.6 million and an average of 1.5 million.

On Saturday, May 27th at 3:45pm, the feature film Claudia directed by Edward Westrop will have its world premiere at the Romford Film Festival.

Claudia is a black comedy about a misogynistic, sixty-something year old man named Raymond who forms an emotional relationship with a life-sized, female mannequin. This film aims to put a darkly comedic twist on the topic of domestic abuse when Raymond realises that the mannequin, who he names Claudia, is the perfect vessel for his misogynistic, backwards relationship values.

Director of Claudia, Edward Westrop, is a self-taught filmmaker whose western themed, stop frame animation ‘Cloaked Rider’ was shown at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015. Claudia is Westrop’s first feature film and has already been selected by the ‘Out of the Can International Film Festival’ and the ‘London International Film Festival’, gaining both honourable mention and finalist laurels. The American Hustle cast includes some of the best actors of the 2010s with all its lead stars having either won an Oscar or secured multiple nominations. Directed by David O Russell, American Hustle is inspired by the FBI Abscam scandal of the 1970s and the 1980s. The narrative begins with the exploits of two con artists, who are eventually hired by the FBI to bring down several corrupt politicians through elaborate sting operations. Garnering ten nominations at the 2014 Oscars, Russell relied on many frequent collaborators like Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper to helm his period piece.

Even though American Hustle dramatizes the true events, the lead actors are not playing real-like figures (at least by name). The original draft, an unproduced screenplay by Eric Warren Singer, retained the actual names of the people involved in the Abscam scandal. But in his rewrites, Russell replaced the real figures with their caricatures.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge‘s global takeover continued in earnest late Saturday, with the Brit auteur’s tragicomic Amazon series Fleabag dominating the 2019 Television Critics Association Awards with three trophies, including best comedy series, best comedic performer (for Waller-Bridge) and the coveted Program of the Year. Waller-Bridge, who in addition to being Fleabag‘s titular star also is the show’s creator/writer/EP, was on hand for the non-televised ceremony, which was hosted by Desus & Mero. (Could a Fleabag Emmy sweep be next?)

Waller-Bridge has previously stated that Fleabag‘s now-TCA award winning second season would serve as the series’ swan song.
