At the start of each episode a wealthy businessman with an unpleasant disposition will begrudgingly commission a pair of mechanics to modify a vehicle in a highly unconventional way. Contrived deadlines and mission requirements will be employed to create drama. The mechanics will do good work, but largely ignore their client's directions. At the episode's conclusion the businessman will express deep disappointment in the whole enterprise. The viewer will observe his persistent negativity and wonder why his business is associated with the show.

Is it to much effort to shoot a docu with real people? This show is meant for a dumb audience. There is a lot of cool stuff in the show but did you need the drama with the Kahn guy?

Cool cars ruined by terrible acting, terrible writing and contrived drama. Hard to finish a single episode.
