Arranged

Just another scripted "reality" show. Most of these couples do not seem to be in truly arranged marriages? Especially Ragini and Veeral, they are just a modern Indian couple planning an extravagant wedding on TV? You certainly don't get any feelings that they didn't pick each other. They are even writing their vows? Who writes vows about someone they barely know? Josh and "what's her name" are same. Maybe their parents went to the same country club, but you get no vibes that the parents arranged their marriage. She is so spoiled it's extremely hard to watch an adult act like she does. Made it to the third episode before I bailed. That's very unusual for me because I usually stick it out just to see how things end up. Don't waste your time.

My gawd! It's not about those two parents. No other parents want to hog the camera. The show is pretty scripted. The Indian woman is totally annoying. All about her and no compromise. Me, me, me. Me, I, I, I, She's impossible and should never get married. She needs no one else but her precious self. The two parents of the gypsies are annoying. What guido camera hogs. They raised a selfish, self aborsed mean son. Probably 3 of them. Did they make some sort of arrangement with the producers to be in almost every shot. I just wanted to tell them to go away. Overall, it's ok. That's it. The kids from SC are so young but I want to sl ap his mother and grandmother in the face for being awful. No kindness in them. Shame on them.

Its a great concept! The first half of season 1 feels real - documentary style. Then the second half of season 1 (The Millers especially!) appear to be manufactured story lines and come off as a trashy reality show.

At first you get the impression that there are so many narcissists in this show that your head is going to blow up.. but. As you get deeper into the show you start seeing these characters interact with each other and start to change. I think any reality show is going to give you characters that you love to hate at first. That's entertainment. But I found this show very refreshing and sweet in the end. How the couple's had their own dynamics and were able to love each other flaws and all. I liked the range of cultural and situational differences. I'm disappointed there were only 2 seasons. I did want more.
