‘The Batman Part 2’ Writer Gives Shocking Script Update That Could Outdo the Original
Image
The Batman Part II writer Mattson Tomlin has just delivered the most exciting update on the highly anticipated sequel yet. Tomlin is writing the script for the Robert Pattinson-led Batman sequel, along with director Matt Reeves. The duo recently turned their latest draft into DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran, who were quite pleased with what they read. The film is scheduled to begin production at the start of next year, but it won’t be released for over two years, currently slated to premiere on October 1, 2027.

On his personal X account, a fan asked Tomlin if he felt The Batman Part II had the potential to...

Superman Or Batman – Whose Movies Have Made More At The Box Office
Image
From Man of Steel To The Dark Knight: Who Wins The Superman vs Batman Box Office Battle? ( Photo Credit – Facebook )

For decades, Superman and Batman have stood as the crown jewels of DC’s mythology. One represents hope, the other vengeance. One is an alien god among men, the other a human who built himself into a legend. But beyond the comic panels and the big screen rivalries, fans often ask a simpler question: which hero has made more money at the movies?

The debate is closer than casual audiences may think. While Superman pioneered the superhero blockbuster back in 1978, Batman’s darker, grittier tones helped redefine the genre in the 2000s.

Who the Hell Opens a Video Store in 2025? Renoir, That’s Who
Image
Paintings by Pierre-Auguste Renoir hang in every major museum in Southern California. The French master’s son, filmmaker Jean Renoir, was nominated for an Oscar in 1946. Believe it or not, there’s another Renoir working in Hollywood today, and he’s a trailblazer in his own way. Meet Matthew Renoir — the great-great-grandson of the Impressionist painter and the great-grandson of the filmmaker — who at the height of streaming opened a video rental store in Burbank called Be Kind Video.

When people find out about his family history, Renoir admits, “It’s a weird thing. Not that I’m not wanting to talk about it.” But their first question is always the same, he says: ” ‘Do you have any paintings?’ I always go, ‘Yeah, they’re in my car.’ “

Matthew, 41, grew up on a farm in Stevinson, California — a town of about 300 people in the Central Valley. His father owned a plumbing business,...

Archie Comics Movie in the Works at Universal From Phil Lord and Christopher Miller
Image
A film based on Archie Comics is in development at Universal, with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller producing, TheWrap has learned.

Tom King is set to write the screenplay. Lord Miller president Aditya Sood, Emma Watts and Archie Comics CEO Jon Goldwater will also produce.

“We are longtime fans of Archie, Veronica, Betty and the gang in all of their iterations. When we heard Tom King’s take on the classic material, we instantly thought it made sense as an event movie for all audiences — both lifelong fans and a whole new generation,” Lord and Miller said in a statement. “We’re so excited to bring these beloved characters to the big screen.”

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but news of the film notably comes just two years after TV adaptation “Riverdale” ended its 7-season run on The CW.

After directing “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs,” “21 Jump Street...

Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy Is Officially Back and You'll Never Guess How
Image
Christopher Nolan's trilogy of Batman films is set to return...in Lego form. Tt Games has just announced Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a new Lego video game that will homage Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises with the franchise's signature Lego-fied sense of humor. Need convincing? British comedy legend Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows) will provide the dulcet tones of the masked supervillain Bane.

The game will very loosely follow the arc of the three films. It will begin with the young Bruce Wayne training with the League of Shadows, then follow him as he returns to Gotham City,...

DC’s ‘Clayface’ Movie Taps ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Star for Key Role
Image
The cast of Clayfaceis starting to be molded into shape. The Handmaid's Tale's Max Minghella is in final negotiations to star in the upcoming DC Comics horror film. He would co-star with the already-cast Tom Rhys Harries and Naomi Ackie. The movie is set to ooze into theaters on September 11, 2025.

According to reports, Minghella would star as a Gotham City police detective who's dating a shady Elizabeth Holmes-esque scientist (Ackie). The two of them get mixed up with an actor (Harries) who wants her help rebuilding his face after getting disfigured by a gangster. This results in his goopy transformation into the malleable title character, who has bedeviled Batman in various incarnations for 85 years. Best known for starring in The Handmaid's Tale, which concluded its sixth and final season earlier this year, Minghella is the son of late British director Anthony Minghella (The English Patient). He is next...

10 Highest-Grossing Screenwriters Of All Time, Ranked
Image
You have probably heard that filmmaking is a director's medium. Whether it's ranking directors by their total box office or even their number of "perfect movies," there's no denying that a lot of attention is paid to whoever is sitting in the director's chair. Perhaps this dedicated devotion to directors is unfair to the screenwriters, who, after all, are the artists who put the words on the page that are turned into a movie. Especially since screenwriters suffer through anxiety-inducing levels of input from directors, producers, execs, executive assistants, execs' family members, the janitorial staff, and online bloggers. But if we're being honest, filmmaking is a financier's medium first and foremost, and the bean counters care most about money. In which case, there's a reason the following screenwriters have stayed busy -- their scripts make bank.

While only a few of these writers are Oscar winners, or have written films...

Universal & The Lego Group Developing Comedy ‘Inner Child’ From James Morosini
Image
Exclusive: Inner Child, an elevated Lego comedy from James Morosini, is in early development at Universal and The Lego Group, sources tell Deadline.

Reps for Lego and Universal declined comment, but sources close to the project said Lego Group will produce. Plot details are being kept under wraps.

The origin story here is interesting in that the project originated as an original spec from Morosini that had nothing to do with the Lego universe. It was originally a bit of an edgier concept, written for live-action. But since falling for the script and snapping it up, execs at Universal and Lego Group have elected to take the material in a direction, visually and otherwise, befitting the Lego brand.

First introduced in Denmark in 1932, the Lego brand has continued to engage audiences around the world by expanding into feature films more than a decade ago. In 2020, Universal closed a five-year exclusive...

25 years into the 21st century, it is once again time for Superman to leap onto the big screen (in a single bound). As James Gunn prepares to launch a new DC universe, the writer/director has hinged the start of the franchise on the Man of Steel himself.

But now that “Superman” is out, where does it rank among the best DC superhero movies this century? Does it even make the cut? How many Batman movies will crack the top 10? Read on to find out.

'F1' Overtakes Rihanna’s 34% Rotten Tomatoes Bomb Based on a Children's Game
Image
The sports drama F1 is facing the heat at the box office, with fresh competition from Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman. And with Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps around the corner, F1 will rely on international audiences and older crowds to continue pulling in the numbers at the box office. The film recently recovered its hefty reported budget of $300 million, and is now aiming to pass the $500 million mark at the global box office. Set in the high-stakes world of Formula One racing and funded by Apple in collaboration with the F1 brand, the well-reviewed sports drama is already the highest-grossing movie to be produced by a tech company.

It’s another goal that Apple has beaten its competitors to, after winning the coveted Best Picture Oscar some years ago for Coda. With over $125 million domestically and around $360 million at the global box office, F1 has overtaken hit...

Audience Rotten Tomatoes Score Says James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ is One of the Best Character Adaptations of All Time
Image
The wait is over. James Gunn’s Superman has officially landed in theaters around the world. This marks the beginning of the new DC Universe on the big screen, and fans are finally getting to see David Corenswet as the Man of Steel. He’s joined by Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.

This isn’t another origin story. Superman is already on the job, and the world around him is chaotic, filled with superheroes, villains, and plenty of action. It’s a fast-paced, magical place where anything can happen, and usually does.

Early social media reactions were very positive, and that same energy has carried over into official reviews.

As of now, Superman holds an 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on more than 1000 reviews. That’s a strong start for a reboot, especially one with so much pressure riding on it.

People really loved the new Superman movie.

All 10 Superman Movies, Ranked (From Worst to Best)
Image
Superman isn’t just the most famous superhero in history, but one of the most iconic characters in the history of modern American media. The history of DC comics was built on the world that Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster created back in the 1930s, which has continued in new and exciting ways throughout thousands of subsequent issues. Although Superman was depicted on television by George Reeves and later appeared in many animated shows, his transition to the big screen marked the first instance in which Hollywood took notice of the potential that comic book cinema had. Christopher Reeve had many other great roles, but for most viewers, he would always be known as the definitive Clark Kent.

After the four films that Reeve starred in, Superman had a somewhat difficult path back to the cinema, as many potential reboots were considered. Brandon Routh eventually took on the role...

Chris Pratt's 53% Sci-Fi That Critics Claim Was "Bored With Itself" Is a Sleeper Hit on Streaming
Image
It might not have impressed critics when it first dropped, but Chris Pratt's The Tomorrow War is finding new life on streaming — again. The $200 million sci-fi action blockbuster, once called “bored with itself” by critics, has stormed back into the HBO Max Top 25, years after it became the most expensive direct-to-streaming release of its time. Originally produced by Paramount and offloaded to Prime Video in 2021, The Tomorrow War was a major move in the early streaming wars, landing with a thunderous $200M price tag and huge expectations. Now, it’s doing numbers all over again — with data confirming the film surged back into the HBO Max Top 10 as recently as June 25.

So what’s driving this renewed interest in a movie that debuted to a lukewarm 51% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes? For starters, the premise still slaps: Pratt plays a high school teacher who’s drafted into a war...

HBO Max has welcomed The Tomorrow War with open arms, giving the sci-fi spectacle a fresh boost years after its original debut. The film, where Chris Pratt’s character is pulled into a future war against aliens, found itself climbing HBO Max’s viewership charts on June 25, landing in the 10th spot. This marks the second surge in interest in a single week, especially across several European countries, helping the movie rack up over 700 points on FlixPatrol this month alone.

Paramount Struggles Lead To Big Streaming Deals

Paramount’s troubles have been dragging on, with the studio often forced to sell big titles to streaming platforms. Movies like Coming 2 America ended up on Prime Video, while Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F went straight to Netflix. From ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ to ‘Porco Rosso’, 3 Batman Actors Have Voiced Ghibli Roles
Image
The recent release of The Boy and the Heron put a spotlight on how often Studio Ghibli casts regular celebrities rather than voice actors to play the roles. For the titular grey heron, Robert Pattinson provided his talents and gave a fantastically weird performance none of us expected from him.

Robert Pattinson’s role in The Boy and the Heron is a far cry from his previous movie, Matt Reeves’ The Batman, where he once again plays the titular character. However, there’s something more curious about his casting that doesn’t involve how diverse his acting is.

Pattinson isn’t the first actor Studio Ghibli has cast who has played the DC superhero, Batman. One of them played arguably the most iconic Ghibli character, while the other was in a more underrated movie.

Chris Pratt's $200 Million Sleeper Hit Was Offloaded by Studio, and Now It's a Major Streaming Hit
Image
It's quite common for streaming movies these days to cost as much as major theatrical releases, but back in 2021, The Tomorrow War was something of an anomaly. Headlined by Chris Pratt, the science-fiction action film was the biggest title to be offloaded by Paramount during the pandemic, when the studio was witnessing a major financial crunch. During this time, it also sold off Alex Garland's Annihilation and Aaron Sorkin's The Trial of the Chicago 7 to Netflix. The Tomorrow War, along with the Eddie Murphy-led Coming 2 America, was offloaded to Prime Video.

Now, four years after its initial release, the science-fiction action film has re-emerged on the streaming charts, thanks to its availability on Max. Directed by Chris McKay, who'd previously made the well-liked animated hit The Lego Batman Movie, The Tomorrow War is a throwback to '90s sci-fi spectacles like Independence Day and Godzilla.

Conan O'Brien is a vibrant entertainer, writer, and talk show host. From that gleaming smile to that orange quaff of hair, he's undeniably a recognizable and prominent figure in our current pop culture, but is he ready for Pixar?

For those not in the know, the Toy Story franchise is getting (yes) a fifth film. While the third entry was arguably a perfect ending to a beloved story, a fifth film might be needed to wash the taste of the fourth film out of our mouths. Still, what could Conan O'Brien bring to the table?

The 15 Worst Things The Joker Has Ever Done
Image
One of the most recognizable and beloved villains in the history of entertainment, the Joker has dominated the criminal underworld of DC Comics since he first appeared during the industry's Golden Age. Whether he's portrayed cartoonishly, as a maniacal mastermind of malice and mischief, or as a disturbingly plausible psychological terrorist, his appearances in "Batman" stories are consistently memorable.

What makes him so distinct is his peculiar way of carrying out his creatively heinous crimes, always with a flair for the dramatic, a smile, and a grim joke. We've gone through his history in comics, film, and television to find the most horrible things various versions of the clown prince have ever done. While we'll be avoiding some severe tonal outliers, our top 15 choices showcase the Joker at his absolute best - which is to say, his very, very worst.

The 10 Best Animated Batman Movies, Ranked
Image
If you look at a lot of the best films in the superhero genre, a common denominator is Batman. The Caped Crusader's 80+ year legacy makes him one of the comic book heroes most open for interpretation. Different filmmakers have produced widely different, yet equally excellent, Batman movies. 1966's "Batman: The Movie" is a camp classic. "Batman Returns" is a gothic German Expressionist melodrama only Tim Burton could have made. Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" and Matt Reeves' "The Batman" are both fantastic crime dramas with big ideas most superhero movies don't even reach for.

But it'd be a big mistake to leave animation out of this conversation. "Batman: The Animated Series" is generally considered the finest Batman adaptation ever, proof positive the Dark Knight can excel on film no matter the medium. There are also many more animated Batman movies than live-action ones at this point. Many of them...

10 Cancelled DC Movies We Still Want To See
Image
DC doesn't know the meaning of the word restraint. From Jonah Hex to Batman and even the fluffy Super-Pets, it appears like every DC character has received their own feature film at some point in time. Yet, like every other comic book movie fan around the world, we're greedy -- we want and demand more from the powers that be. Give us "Zatanna." Put a brand-new "Swamp Thing" film into production. Heck, greenlight "Black Adam 2" while you're at it -- actually, maybe scratch that last one, because we don't need the hierarchy of power to flatulate again.

While we're always in the mood for new projects, there's a special allure about the what-ifs -- you know, the cancelled DC movies of the past. Look, there's no guarantee that these films would have been any good or even mildly watchable, but there's something about them that keeps the brain pondering the possibilities.

Kevin Conroy's Favorite Batman: The Animated Series Episode Will Leave You Heartbroken
Image
There have been endless debates about which screen adaptation of Batman stands above the rest. Usually, that discussion revolves around the cinematic interpretations, whether it's Tim Burton's two films with Michael Keaton, Joel Schumacher's films with Val Kilmer and George Clooney, Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy with Christian Bale, Zack Snyder's DC Extended Universe films with Ben Affleck, or Matt Reeves' ongoing Epic Crime Saga with Robert Pattinson. We can even throw in "The Lego Batman Movie," which features Will Arnett as the funniest Caped Crusader of them all, and whose cancelled sequel I still mourn eight years later. And of course, how can we forget the legendary Adam West? While every one of these adaptations has its share of highlights (and lowlights), it is hard to argue against "Batman: The Animated Series," featuring the late Kevin Conroy's legendary voice performance as Bruce Wayne.

Zoë Kravitz’s Most Successful Movie Might Surprise You As She Barely Appears In It!
Image
What Was Zoë Kravitz’s most successful movie? ( Photo Credit – Instagram )

Her highest-grossing film? Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them from 2016. The Harry Potter prequel raked in a jaw-dropping $812M worldwide. And Kravitz? She popped up only in a photograph. That’s it. A cameo so quick, if you blinked, you missed her. Yet it counted according to Cheatsheet, and it topped her résumé.

The film introduced audiences to Newt Scamander’s magical misadventures, but tucked in the background of his suitcase life was a single photo, Leta Lestrange, played by none other than Kravitz. No spells. No lines. Just a mysterious smile in a frame. Still, that blink-and-you’ll-miss-it role marked her biggest box office hit to date.

Of course, she got more than a photo op in the sequel. In Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), Kravitz returned with more screen time and a whole lot of wizarding drama.

Nathan Fillion's Guy Gardner Is an "Overconfident" Green Lantern in Dcu's 'Superman'

Along with David Corenswet's Clark Kent, and a smattering of other DC heroes and villains, James Gunn's Superman will also introduce the Green Lanterns to the DC Universe through Nathan Fillion's Guy Gardner. Casual comic book fans may know the name Hal Jordan, thanks to the panned Ryan Reynolds-led Green Lantern movie, but Gardner couldn't be more different. While Guy Gardner is a hero and a very strong member of the Green Lantern Corp, Nathan Fillion recently revealed he's not the typical superhero you're used to.

The author had started with fantasy, then moved into paranormal, and then contemporary dark romance — all with the express purpose of laying the groundwork for her eventual big hit. “It was just this process of continuously wanting to learn how to crack it and how to get better and better, and focusing on the next thing in the future,” Weaver tells Rolling Stone.” Then she started noticing people tagging her on TikTok.

The Best Joker Cartoon Appearances In Batman, Ranked
Image
The Joker is one of comics’ most popular villains, appearing in countless Batman pieces of media across mediums. Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime has been blessed with diverse and riveting portrayals by talented actors in both film and television, but he also has a long and storied history in animation.

Many animated portrayals of Batman's greatest nemesis have been just as iconic as their film counterparts, if not more so. Unfortunately, not every animated Joker has lived up to the same standard. Sometimes an animated Joker is only as good or bad as the Batman show he is in. Other times, a cartoon Joker stands out as the best, or worst, member of his cast.

Update: 2025/02/08 19:20 Est By Brian Cronin

I have updated this fun look at the best takes on the Joker in Batman animated shows and featured to add five more notable Joker animated appearances.

The Forgotten Owen Wilson & Zach Galifianakis Movie Getting A Second Life On Prime Video
Image
Did you know that there's a movie out there starring Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis, Amy Poehler, the late Edward Hermann, "The Office's" Jenna Fischer, Peter Bogdanovich, and even Melissa Rauch from "The Big Bang Theory?" What if I told you the movie is written and directed by Matthew Weiner, a veteran of "The Sopranos" who went on to create "Mad Men?" Are you wondering why you haven't seen it before?! It's probably because that movie, 2014's "Are You Here," was a huge flop — but I'll get back to that in just a moment. First, what is "Are You Here" — which is currently proving pretty popular on Amazon Prime Video — about?

When we first meet Wilson's local weatherman Steve Dallas, he's a womanizer who barely does his job — often outsourcing the actual weather predictions to his assistant Delia Shepherd (Lauren Lapkus) before taking credit for them on air — and blows his money on expensive dates,...

15 Best Children's Movie Franchises
Image
Though children's movies have a core demographic in mind, their outreach is often so universal among audiences that they garner huge amounts of success. Production companies such as DreamWorks Animation and Disney have plenty of well-received stand-alone films, but some continue to produce sequels and prequels as they spawn into franchises.

Some films work better on their own, while others benefit from subsequent content that builds upon the stories of their predecessors. From How to Train Your Dragon to Barbie, some children's movies are timeless in how they never cease to consistently amaze over the years. Fortunately for fans, some of these successful franchises are continuing to produce movies even to this day.

Updated on February 1, 2025, by Lauren Younkin: Any well-made children's film tends to be a well-made film for all, as people can often connect with them at any stage of life regardless of age. Franchises have the benefit...

Ralph Fiennes and Cate Blanchett Gamble With Love in This Underseen Drama
Image
Ralph Fiennes and Cate Blanchett have consistently cemented their status as two of the most respectable actors in the industry, actors who tend to carry the responsibility of heavy material with aplomb. It isn't often that we see them in roles that make them be a tad quirky or potentially silly, hence why it's surprising to see them do projects like The Lego Batman Movie or Borderlands, respectively. But that wasn't always the case, as back when they were both still building up their resumes, they teamed up for a spirited yarn called Oscar and Lucinda, director Gillian Armstrong's follow-up to her successful Little Women adaptation. Armstrong found ideal protagonists for her storytelling fixations in these two outsiders who cross each other's paths and find a way towards success and fulfillment in each other and their unique shared passion: cards.

'Keeping Up With the Joneses' May Have Bombed, But it's Found New Life on Streaming
Image
Zach Galifianakis, Isla Fisher, Gal Gadot, Jon Hamm, and fan favorite Patton Oswalt along with director Greg Mottola (Superbad), couldn't save their 2016 action comedy, Keeping Up With the Joneses. The film should have been a solid comedy hit, but instead tanked at the box office and was savaged by critics and audiences alike. However it has found new life on streaming, and sits at number four on Max's Top 10.

Keeping Up With the Joneses had the star power and director to get audiences excited about the film. Galifianakis was riding high with the Hangover trilogy, as Hamm earned major praise and awards as Don Draper on Mad Men (which ended the year before). Meanwhile, Gadot had been cast as Wonder Woman and appeared in Fast & Furious 6. Fisher appeared in hits like Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic.

The plot seems to be in the vein of Mr....

DC Just Proved Exactly Why One Of My Favorite Teams Is Doomed To Always Break Up
Image
Harley Quinn season 5 has begun streaming on Max, and the DC Universe series has already done away with one of the best teams that the show has yet introduced. Fortunately, this is the right decision for the Harley Quinn season 5 premiere, which already has a great deal to do to set up the latest season. Bringing in characters like Lena Luthor and Brainiac, and moving the action of the show to Metropolis, season 5 sets up a new and engaging chapter of the show, with an incredibly unique and unexpected future ahead.

The DC series has worked hard to create one of the best versions of Harley Quinn and has crafted a truly unique version for the wider DC Universe. Akin to projects like The Lego Batman Movie, Harley Quinn has used elements of parody in its iteration of this world, yet never feels false to the origins of the characters.

The current slate of Dcu projects features a lot of ties to Batman so far, which is no surprise since he's arguably the most popular superhero on the planet. The first Batman-related project will focus on a villain who has yet to make a live-action debut. Clayface is set to hit theaters in September 2026 and so far, no director is attached, but the film's script comes from Mike Flanagan. Dynamic Duo is another Batman project moving forward at DC Studios that will follow Dick Grayson and Jason Todd using groundbreaking animation. That film is still a ways off, and it's unclear if it's part of the Dcu or Elseworlds. Of course, Matt Reeves...

5 Years Ago, Robert Downey Jr.'s Big Post-Iron Man Movie Was A Box Office Disaster
Image
(Welcome to Tales from the Box Office, our column that examines box office miracles, disasters, and everything in between, as well as what we can learn from them.)

"At that point I was bulletproof. I was the guru of all genre movies." Those are the words of Robert Downey Jr. in 2023 as "Oppenheimer" was making its way to theaters. That film went on to win "Best Picture" and made nearly $1 billion worldwide. It also won Rdj an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. The point in time he was talking about? Around 2017 when he was cast in a film called "The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle," later shortened to just "Dolittle."

The resounding success of "Oppenheimer" cemented Downey as an unquestioned A-lister, even outside of the confines of "Iron Man" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His turn as Tony Stark for more than a decade revived his career beyond even wildest expectations.

Bluey's new look, notes Disney should take from Ludo
Image
Bluey fans around the world are on pins and needles for the new full-length feature film adaptation in 2027, but things are about to change. Although Bluey creator Joe Brumm is devoting all of his time and energy to make the movie great, one development has some fans biting their nails.

Along with the official announcement, it was revealed that Bluey would be getting a CG makeover for the occasion. That's not an uncommon practice for TV show characters making the transition to film, but fans might not need to be so uptight because a redesign has happened before.

All New (and Blue)

Here's what Bluey's official blog says about the future update,

"The CG animated film will be produced by award-winning animation producer Amber Naismith with Richard Jeffery returning to co-direct (’Bluey’ Series 1-3). Joe Brumm will serve as executive producer, alongside Charlie Aspinwall and Daley Pearson from Ludo Studio,...

Casting Amy Rose For Sonic The Hedgehog 4: 10 Actresses Who'd Be Perfect
Image
Warning! This article contains spoilers for Sonic the Hedgehog 3!

The post-credits scene for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 confirmed that Amy Rose will be joining the Sonic cast in the next film, but who will play the fan-favorite character remains to be seen. Sonic 3's post-credits scene, as well as the overall Sonic lore, gives us some idea of what Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will be about. Based on the actors that play the other characters, there are a variety of different ways things could go.

Amy could be played by a big-budget star, similarly to how the character of Knuckles the Echidna is played by Idris Elba. Another route they could take with the character of Amy is to cast the actor who currently plays her in the games, Cindy Robinson, as this is how they cast the character of Miles "Tails" Prower. Regardless, it will be exciting to...

'Bluey' to get CG makeover after creator leaves show, should we be worried?
Image
Big things are happening in the world of Bluey this week. Yesterday, fans were told that the beloved Australian animated series is set to get its first full-length feature film in 2027. That's certainly a game-changer for the beloved blue dog, but it also comes with some "trifficult" developments as well.

Along with this major development, two other changes coming down the pipeline might not go over well with the show's immense fanbase. Along with Bluey creator Joe Brumm stepping away from his role on the animated series to focus on the film, it was also announced that the characters are being made over with a "CG" style.

Bluey's Big Makeover

It's safe to say that very few individuals don't know the name "Bluey." The Heelers have been a part of our lives since 2018, and Ludo's partnership with Disney has only made them a permanent fixture in our homes, but...

10 Best Ralph Fiennes Movie Performances
Ralph Fiennes, Isabella Rossellini, John Lithgow, and Stanley Tucci in Cónclave (2024)
With both “Conclave” to satisfy the middle-aged dads of the world yearning for a classic mid-scale thriller, and “The Return” to satisfy the middle-aged moms obsessed with history and buff Brits, it’s arguably never been a better time to have stock invested in Ralph Fiennes. A thespian of both the stage and screen, Fiennes has become a steady staple of the arts, fluent in both Shakespeare and splashy genre fare. So, too, has Fiennes become a staple of our lives; it almost feels like a rite of passage to learn that the man’s name is actually pronounced “Rafe.”

On the screen, Fiennes has excelled not only in his own performances—never delivering anything less than dignified, even in its delinquency—but in his choice of roles as well. Boasting an eclectic filmography that spans the entire gamut of genre and prestige works alike, Fiennes has more than earned...
