Aaron J. Brooks is a member of the American Legion Post 43 in Hollywood.
Other Post members have included Charlton Heston, Mickey Rooney, Ernest Borgnine, Clark Gable, Gene Autry, and Ronald Reagan.
The Post's Art Deco bar is perhaps the biggest star of all, featured in the pilot episode of "Cheers", "The Shining" and many other feature films and television appearances.
