Davy Williams

Davy has appeared in more than 50 films, TV dramas, and variety shows... mostly Overseas productions. Born and raised in Montana, he moved to China in 2006. He first appeared on the Chinese version of "Star Search" in 2008, where he showcased his ability to sing Chinese songs, then for the next 10 years was cast in many TV Dramas and movies in China, working on the occasional project stateside. After returning from China, he started an indie film production company, Kung Pao Pictures, LLC.

As a feature film Writer/Producer, he has worked on many Chinese-American action films. He produced and helped produce 5 feature films since 2021: 'Chinese Speaking Vampires', is on Amazon Prime and was awarded "Best Horror Feature" at the 2023 Golden State Film Festival. His second film, 'Slant Streets', received awards at the Cannes Independent Film Festival and Culver City Film Festival in 2023. The third feature, "Kung Fu Slayers", with Eric Roberts, Bai Ling, and Michael Pare, is in Post-Production as of May 2024. He also helped produce the Westerns: 'Eye for Eye' in 2022 and Mr. Pettigrew (2024). He has martial arts fighting experience and boxing training. He plays Sax and can sing Chinese songs. He also has worked as a ski instructor, Mandarin tutor and Trucker. Graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Civil engineering. He's fluent in Mandarin, and author of the book 'Move to China'.
