In January 2011, she started her solo music career under the name "hibiku".

She is credited under aliases such as Lime Mizusaki, Asuka Kenyoshi, Haruru Aikaze, Ritsu Kohinata, Beni Nonoyama, Sumomo, Misao Utsuki, and Yurine Shirasawa when working on adult games.

She wanted to become a voice actress after watching the Pokemon anime and her admiration to Satoshi.

As a singer, she formerly used the mononym hibiku until 2019, when she released her second mini album "Take Over You" under the name Hibiku Yamamura.
