Carla was discovered by a photographer on a movie set. Modeling was never her plan, but after booking several modeling jobs and magazine features, she became the runner-up out of 10,000 girls for Maxim's first international Cover Girl Contest, and was saluted with a 2-page spread in the Maxim USA March/April 2018 Issue.

Maxim chose Tempesta as one of their Hot 100 models in June of 2018. Alongside the biggest entertainers and models in Hollywood, she is featured in the "Bombshell" category of the Maxim Hot 100 Issue.

Carla Tempesta released her debut single, "Girls Weekend" on May 20th, 2022. Upon its release, it gained radio play on both Country and Rock radio stations. The song has also racked up over 1 million streams on Spotify in just a few months.
