Jake Mavity is an multi-award-winning writer/director known for his joyful approach to filmmaking. His work is honest & witty with a big emphasis on film craft. He has an intuitive approach to casting, often working with new and undiscovered talent for performances that are both fresh and naturalistic. Jake's background as an editor imbues his storytelling with clarity and precision and his confident approach has led to him being recognised at a variety of prestigious festivals. He has won numerous awards for his work in narrative, music videos and advertising, including at the British Arrows, D&AD, 1.4 Awards, Creative Circle, London International Awards and The Clios. Plus he has picked up a handful of Cannes Lions too.
