She is best known for her role as Boo in "Bunheads". Prior to being cast in "Bunheads" Kaitlyn Jenkins competed at YGPA.

Kaitlyn began dancing when she was 3 years old. She's studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, Contemporary, Freestyle, and Ballroom. She was trained at American Ballet Theatre, the Boston Ballet, Katsbaan, The Jillana School, and Anaheim Ballet.

Outside of dance Kaitlyn enjoys horseback riding, swimming, and working out at the gym.

Kaitlyn was born on April 11, 1992.
