After a diverse career spanning different fields (board games, criminology, advertising), Patrick Renault comes to TV screenwriting in 2007. He starts off writing numerous episodes of R.I.S., a forensic procedural, as well as some TV features. Dividing his time between writing for TV and the comic book industry, he gets hired as a staff writer for three seasons of No Limit, an action-comedy series created by Luc Besson and Franck Philippon. He then becomes head writer and executive story editor for No Second Chance and Just One Look, two TV series adaptations of the bestselling novels by Harlan Coben. He is currently creating a new TV series, Last Light, an international co-production adapted from Alex Scarrow's bestseller of the same name, produced by Make It Happen, Brain Academy and Trust Nordisk.
