On Sunday, Bieber shared a clip of a 2013 interview with the rapper Dmx on the show Iyanla, Fix My Life, hosted by life coach Iyanla Vanzant, on his Instagram story.

In the clip, Vanzant wondered whether Dmx would “Live his life as a clean man,” to which the rapper responded, confused, “When you say clean – no weed? No drinking? Nothing?”

Vanzant agreed on the definition of “nothing,” and a baffled Dmx asked, “Why?… Why would I?”

Vanzant said it would allow him to be a “clear, pure vessel for the voice of God.” Dmx responded, “I think I’m exactly where I need to be with God.”

Shia Labeouf has settled a lawsuit from FKA twigs, who accused him of “relentless abuse” and knowingly giving her a sexually transmitted disease.

A lawyer for FKA twigs, born Tahliah Debrett Barnett, on Monday notified the court of a deal. Terms of the settlement weren’t disclosed. A trial was scheduled to start in September.

The singer-songwriter filed a lawsuit in 2020 bringing claims of sexual battery, assault, emotional distress and negligence. She alleged that the actor has a long history of abusing women.

According to the complaint, the pair met in 2018, around the time Labeouf finished filming Honey Boy, with Barnett moving in with him shortly after. Labeouf then engaged in a “continuous stream of verbal and mental abuse” before escalating to physical violence. In one incident, Labeouf slammed Barnett against his car and strangled her, said the lawsuit, which noted that he kept a loaded rifle by their bedside.

Travis Scott and his Jackboys collective’s compilation album Jackboys 2 debuts at Number One on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as Billboard reports. It earned 232,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. Of those, 72,000 comprise streaming equivalent albums (Sea) equaling 94.68 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs, according to Luminate.

The follow-up to the chart-topping EP Jackboys from 2019, the sequel arrived on July 13 with seven songs available as a digital download and came in five vinyl variants. Its expanded version houses 17 tracks, available via digital download, streaming, and on CD with five variants.

Travis Scott came out on top in a stacked week of new releases Sunday, as his latest album JackBoys 2 debuted atop Billboard’s 200 Albums chart, beating out Justin Bieber’s surprise release Swag, as well as Let God Sort ‘Em Out, Clipse’s first album in over 15 years.

JackBoys 2, considered a compilation album with his Cactus Jack label, marks Scott’s sixth album to top the Billboard chart (that’s four solo records as well as the original JackBoys compilation album). It opens with 232,000 units and was buoyed by strong traditional sales, selling 160,000 copies, Billboard reported.

Scott ends Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem‘s two-month streak atop the albums chart since that record debuted in May. (Luminate reported last week that I’m the Problem is the biggest album in the U.S. through the first half of 2025.)
