- Is a National Merit Scholar and received a Bachelors in Business Administration with concentrations in International Business and Marketing from The University of Oklahoma on a full scholarship. She was treasurer of the OU Film Society and Liaison for the Women's Outreach Center, and is also an alumnae of the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity and of the Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity.
- She attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (Dallas Arts Magnet) majoring in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance.
- She is of Cuban and Mexican descent, and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
- Won "Best Actress" for Celluloid Dreams (2014) at the 2015 Claremont Film Festival.
- She performed in classical Iraqi Arabic and in English with an Iraqi accent in The Waiter (2010).
- Crystal Mantecon is fluent in English and Spanish.
