(2005) Finished the Amsterdam Drama school of Arts in 2005. During and after drama school he played in numerous stage plays, classics and modern, and featured in dozen of commercials. In (2009) he got his first serious movie time exposure in the motion picture 'Majesteit' / 'Majesty' from Peter De Baan, in which he played Prins Constantijn. From that point his t.v./film career took a lift, which resulted in supporting and leading supporting roles on t.v. and in cinema. In (2013) he got known by a really big audience with two projects: His leading supporting role in the multiple prizewinning film 'Spijt!' / 'Regret' by Dave Schram, in which he plays the harsh teacher Tino. And with his role as Police Detective Menno Kuiper, in the all time popular daily Dutch t.v. show 'GTST'. Besides acting Dave Mantel also works as a photographer and filmmaker in Fashion, Street Photography and Docu.
