Anna Ugarte-Carral is a highly talented and critically acclaimed Australian chef known for her impressive culinary background in some of the world's best restaurants and her distinctive produce-driven, art-inspired cooking style. Anna was part of Noma's prestigious internship program when it reopened in 2018, gaining experience in one of the world's most influential restaurants. She gained significant recognition for her tenure as Head Chef at The Old Fitzroy Hotel (Woolloomooloo, Sydney) from early 2021 to mid-2022. While it's a pub, Anna transformed its dining room into a hatted brasserie, showcasing her ability to deliver high-quality, flavourful food in a more casual setting, often with a subtle Spanish influence.
