Charisma Carpenter addressed fan speculation she would be returning to the queen bee character that first catapulted her to fame in the forthcoming reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

In a TikTok video posted today, the actress — who appeared as Cordelia Chase in both the mothership series and Angel spinoff — debunked any rumors she would be in the new show.

“Hey, I get asked this a lot: ‘Are you doing the reboot?’ And I thought I would address it,” she began in response to a comment. “I am not in the reboot. I am not in the pilot. I don’t even know if the show has been picked up to go to series. I assume it will be.”

Carpenter then addressed the launch of her new Buffy rewatch podcast titled The Bitch Is Back, the name of which she dispelled was associated with any kind of return to the Buffyverse.

The class at Sunnydale High — or rather a version like it — has been named today, as the first roll-out of names added to the upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer series has officially dropped. Joining the previously announced chosen one, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, who will hold the title of slayer in the revamp, is a lineup of talent that includes Sarah Bock (Severance), Faly Rakotohavana (Unprisoned), Daniel Di Tomasso (CSI: Vegas), Jack Cutmore-Scott (Frasier), and Ava Jean (Law & Order: Svu). Should the pilot that’s headed for Hulu stick the landing (and we sure hope it does), audiences should prepare to see plenty of these faces as series regulars alongside Armstrong and the Og slayer, Sarah Michelle Gellar, who reprises her role as Buffy Summers.

Hulu has ordered up a pilot episode of a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” reboot series, with Sarah Michelle Gellar reprising the role of Buffy alongside Ryan Kiera Armstrong (Firestarter) as a brand new vampire slayer. More casting news has been announced by Deadline today.

Faly Rakotohavana (Unprisoned), Ava Jean (Law & Order: Svu), Sarah Bock (Severance), Daniel Di Tomasso (CSI: Vegas) and Jack Cutmore-Scott (“Frasier”) have joined the cast of creator Chloé Zhao’s (Nomadland) “Buffy” reboot project as series regulars.

Deadline notes, “Armstrong plays the new slayer — an introverted high-school student named Nova — in the untitled Buffyverse project, which Gellar executive produces.

The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” revival pilot at Hulu is rounding out its main cast.

Variety has learned that the pilot has added five series regulars to its cast alongside previously announced cast members Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.

The new additions are: Faly Rakotohavana as Hugo, Ava Jean as Larkin, Sarah Bock (“Severance”) as Gracie, Daniel di Tomasso as Abe, and Jack Cutmore-Scott as Mr. Burke.

The pilot was first reported to be in the works back in February. Exact plot details are being kept under wraps, but sources previously said the pilot will focus on a new slayer (Armstrong) with Gellar returning as Buffy.

Rakotohavana is repped by Media Artists Group, The Esi Network, and Katz Public Relations. Jean is repped by Thruline Entertainment, Evolve Artists Agency, and Yorn Levine Barnes. “Severance” stars reunited to lip sync to the viral parody hit of their own theme song. Apple TV posted the video to their social platforms Wednesday, as the leading cast of the hit series called each other “hot.”

“Today is hot,” the streamer captioned their social media posts of the lip-synced video.

The theme song does not have words, so one TikTok user, Cam Kreitner, decided to create his own to the tune of the instrumental version.

“Mark is hot. Helly’s hot. Irv is hot. Gemma’s hot. Dylan’s hot. Milchick’s hot,” the song goes. In Apple’s version the characters sang the lines about their respective love interests on the show with some surprises.

Kreitner, commented on the cast’s recreation of his TikTok saying, “This is kind of the coolest thing to ever happen to me.”

Your outie enjoys gobbling up as much of "Severance" as they can possibly get, to paraphrase a certain Lumon wellness counselor. Exactly how much, however, remains open for discussion. Season 2 came to a heart-stopping close just a few months ago, leaving viewers everywhere bursting with questions. The Q&a, at Apple TV+’s FYC space at the Hollywood Athletic Club, started with a few mishaps, including a missing chair for O’Brien and a shortage of microphones, which left Ben Stiller, the show's executive producer and primary director, without an amplification device. “Really? Fresh off the massive success of SeveranceSeason 2, actress Britt Lower is set to headline a new prison break series for Netflix alongside a star-studded cast.

Per Deadline, Lower will lead the cast of I Will Find You, a new prison break thriller series based on Harlan Coben’s bestselling novel of the same name for Netflix. Lower joins a stellar cast which includes the talents of Sam Worthington, Milo Ventimigilia, Erin Richards and Logan Browning. I Will Find You follows "David Burroughs (Worthington), an innocent father serving life for the murder of his own son who receives evidence that his child may still be alive — and must break out of prison to find out the truth," per the official logline. Coben created the adaptation alongside showrunner Robert Hull, who served as an executive producer for Gotham, which ran for five seasons.

The creators and cast of Severance came together in Hollywood for a Deadline X Apple TV+ Severance FYC Event, delving into several mysterious details in the 10-episode second season.

Creator Dan Erickson, director and executive producer Ben Stiller and cast members Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Patricia Arquette, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Sarah Bock, Gwendoline Christie and Darri Olafsson had a conversation Saturday evening at the DGA Theater in a panel moderated by Abbott Elementary star and creator Quinta Brunson, who also appeared in Season 3 of Party Down with Scott. The team spoke about the finale episode of Season 2, which runs a whopping 77 minutes.

Coming just hours after the show’s Season 2 finale shook fans, the “Severance” PaleyFest panel rocked the Dolby Theatre by unleashing a live marching band number — recreating a memorable moment from the episode.

Tramell Tillman, who plays Mr. Milchick, led a marching band through the Dolby Theatre. Prior to the sudden performance, Tillman had been the only one out of the cast and creative team to not show up on stage when his name was called. Just as the panel was getting started — and after Stiller explained that the actor “goes off the grid” at times — Tillman made his entrance with the band.

The Season 2 finale, which was released the day prior to the panel, involves Mr. Milchick acting as a drum major during an elaborate marching band sequence.

Unless a character is armed with the ironclad self-obsession of Ricken Hale (Michael Chernus) or the megalomaniac devotion of Jame Eagan (Michael Siberry), the world Lumon Industries created seems custom designed to grind a person down. 

The company, on the other hand, is built to endure. Over two seasons of "Severance," nothing the protagonists have managed to do has really swayed Lumon in any significant way beyond tiny inconveniences, minor PR crises, and the occasional personnel change ... until now.
