After Saukan Saunkanay 2, Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira are back together on the big screens. Joining them is Gippy Grewal for the comedy drama Sarbala Ji. Sargun Mehta and Ammy Virk recently delivered the highest-grossing Punjabi film of 2025 as Saukan Saunkanay 2 concluded its lifetime at 18.27 crore net. Expectations were higher than ever as Sarbala Ji enjoyed good pre-release buzz.

On day 1, Sarbala Ji earned 1.25 crore, as per Sacnilk. It scored the second biggest opening of 2025 in Punjabi cinema. In fact, the comedy-drama was the second film in the language to cross the one crore mark on its opening day this year. Including taxes, the gross earning comes to 1.35 crores.

The Punjabi action flick Shaunki Sardar has been struggling at the box office ever since its release on May 16, 2025. Despite a stellar star cast and a good promotional buzz, the movie is failing to bring the audience to the theatres. Let us take a look at the box office performance of the film on its 9th day.

On its 9th day, the Guru Randhawa starrer earned 9 lakhs on its 9th day. This was a slight growth of 12% since the movie amassed 8 lakhs on its previous day. The total India net collection of the film now comes to 1.52 crores.

Including the taxes, the gross collection comes to 1.79 crores. However, Shaunki Sardar is yet to cross 2 crores which is not a very good sign. The movie is yet to reach the top 5 highest grossing Punjabi films of 2025 list.

The Punjabi action drama Shaunki Sardar was released on May 16, 2025. The film is however, maintaining a dismal pace at the box office. Here is taking a look at the box office collection of the film on its 6th day.

On its 6th day, the Guru Randhawa starrer earned 16 lakhs when it came to the day-wise collection. This was a drop of around 15% since the movie amassed 19 lakhs on its previous day. The total India net collection of the film now comes to 1.24 crore.

The movie is yet to cross 2 crores which is not a very good sign. Shaunki Sardar needs a positive word of mouth to witness a major boost in the collection. Despite a strong star cast and a good buzz pre-release, the film is still struggling to bring the audience to the theatres.

The Punjabi film Guru Nanak Jahaz slowed down its pace on its 10th day. But it is still overall inching towards being the second-highest grossing Punjabi film of 2024. Here is taking a look at the box office performance of the film on its 10th day.

On its 10th day, the Tarsem Jassar starrer earned 22 lakhs. This was a drop of around 4% since the movie amassed 23 lakhs on its previous day. The total India net collection of the movie now stands at 3.74 crores.

Guru Nanak Jahaz is now inching towards 4 crores. However, it needs a bigger boost in the collections which can only happen with a more positive word of mouth. But overall the movie is witnessing a decent pace at the box office.

Punjabi superstar Ammy Virk is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Oye Makhna’, the trailer of which was released recently. The actor-singer shared that he loves working with the director of the film, Simerjit Singh, with whom he has earlier worked in ‘Angrej’ and ‘Nikka Zaildar’.

The makers of the film have also released its poster featuring Ammy and Guggu Gill in very different avatars against the colourful backdrop of wedding celebrations.
