"It was this flashback where we had to sort of relive this very kind of angry moment, and there was a take that Michael had where he really kind of connected with something," De Pablo said. "I went up to him afterwards and I said, 'Oh my God, Michael, that was scary!' And he said, 'I don't like going to that place...' It was really funny because now I'm talking to my friend," De Pablo continued. "He was like, 'God it takes so much out of me, I'm sort of older and wiser and I just don't like going to that place,' and I was like, 'Oh boy, I can relate.

Speaking to TV Insider, NCIS: Origins stars Mariel Molino and Austin Stowell, who portray Special Agent Cecilia "Lala" Dominguez and Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs respectively, were asked what characters from the original NCIS they would like to see show up in future seasons of the prequel series. "Sure, why not a young Dinozzo," said Molino. Stowell added, "We need a new funny guy. We got to have some smiles down in the office," to which Molino added, "A young Ziva would be cool, too."

“NCIS” duo Tony Dinozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) are back in action in the first trailer for the upcoming spinoff: “NCIS: Tony & Ziva,” which Paramount+ unveiled on Monday.
