Francis C. Edemobi is a Nigerian-American actor and filmmaker. Born in Nigeria, he moved with his family to Virginia in search of greater opportunities. Raised by hard-working parents who instilled in him the values of discipline, faith and ambition, Edemobi grew up excelling both academically and athletically. He ran track in high school, winning three Catholic state championships in the 100m and 200m sprints, and had dreams of becoming a professional soccer player -- a dream cut short due to multiple concussions.
From a young age, Edemobi had a natural inclination towards the arts, participating in talent competitions, drawing and dancing bit didn't think it was possible to make it a career. However, it wasn't until his final semester in the College of William & Mary, while earning a BA in Kinesiology and Health Science under the pre-med track, that he discovered acting. One class was all it took to change his life's direction.
He went on to train at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and the Identity School of Acting.
