He's following up his Emmy‑winning Schitt’s Creek with a new comedy titled Big Mistakes, centered on a brother and sister who get tangled in the world of organized crime. Production is already underway in New Jersey and on Wednesday Netflix revealed eight additional cast members. Here’s what we know about the upcoming family crime‑comedy series.

Dan Levy’s Netflix series has tapped Jack Innanen, Boran Kuzum and Abby Quinn as series regulars.

In the family crime comedy series, which is now titled “Big Mistakes,” Innanen will play Max, while Kuzum plays Yusuf and Quinn plays Natalie.

“Big Mistakes,” which stars Levy, Taylor Ortega and Laurie Metcalf, also tapped several recurring stars, including Elizabeth Perkins as Annette, Jacob Gutierrez as Tareq, Joe Barbara” as Mike, Josh Fadem as Ashley and Mark Ivanir as Ivan.

The news comes as the series has officially started production in New Jersey.

The official logline for “Big Mistakes” is as follows: “Two deeply incapable siblings are blackmailed into the world of organized crime.”

Levy serves as creator, showrunner and executive producer for “Big Mistakes” alongside Rachel Sennott, who serves as a creator and executive producer. The eight-episode series is also executive produced by Anne-Marie McGintee for Levy’s Not a Real Production Company.

A Netflix comedy series starring and co-created by Dan Levy has filled out its cast and begun filming in New Jersey. It also has a title.

Netflix has rounded out the cast of Emmy winner Dan Levy’s upcoming family crime comedy series Big Mistakes (fka untitled) as production gets underway in New Jersey. You can also see a couple behind-the-scenes photos below.

Jack Innanen (Adults), Boran Kuzum and Abby Quinn (Hell of a Summer) are set as series regulars joining previously announced Levy, Taylor Ortega and Laurie Metcalf. Fresh off the film’s premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival last night, the official trailer has arrived for Mickey Reece’s (Climate of the Hunter) genre-bending film Every Heavy Thing.

Horror legend Barbara Crampton is part of a cast including Vera Drew, John Ennis, Josh Fadem, Tipper Newton, and James Urbaniak.

Selling the dramatic cliffhanger at the end of Monday night’s episode of “Better Call Saul,” titled “Wexler v. Goodman,” proved a challenge for even star Bob Odenkirk. The cast and creative team behind the Showtime series “On Becoming a God in Central Florida” discussed the impact that multi-level marketing schemes during a panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Friday.

Set in a small Orlando-adjacent town in 1992, the series follows Krystal Stubbs (Dunst), a minimum-wage water park employee who lies, schemes and cons her way up the ranks of Founders American Merchandise (Fam) — the cultish, flag-waving, multibillion-dollar pyramid scheme that drove her to ruin in the first place, run by the powerful Obie Garbeau II (Ted Levine).

“These kinds of schemes are all about people being asked to monetize their relationships,” showrunner Esta Spalding said. “What’s heartbreaking is not only the debt and the loss…The losses become familial as well.”

“Everyone on this show wants something more in their life but there is no way they could do that making minimum wage in 1992,” she continued.

HBO has set Friday, September 13 for the 12-episode third season of its late-night, comedy anthology series Room 104, from Jay and Mark Duplass.

Room 104 tells unique and unexpected tales of the characters who pass through a single room of a typical American chain motel. Kirsten Dunst blinds an all-seeing pyramid in a new trailer for On Becoming a God in Central Florida.

Pyramid schemes didn't start with the Illuminati and didn't end with Amway. Showtime's new series, On Becoming A God in Central Florida, shows the cult of free enterprise is alive and thriving in the southeast land of the mouse. Kirsten Dunst stars as a water park worker who floats to the top in the 10-episode comedy.

Set in 1992, Dunst's character, Krystal Stubbs, lives in the Orlando area. Struggling to make ends meet as a minimum wage worker at a rundown water park, she drinks the kool-aid of multilevel marketing scams. She gets duped by Founders American Enterprise (Fam), a cult-like company which has already brainwashed most of her community with their promises of an “A-list, six-star, jet-set lifestyle," and decides to beat them at their own game.

The pilot was directed by Charlie McDowell.

The Kirsten Dunst-led dark comedy series “On Becoming a God in Central Florida” is moving to its third network home.

The one-hour series has been acquired by Showtime after it had previously been ordered to series at YouTube Premium while having first been in development at AMC. The nine-episode first season is set to debut on Aug. 25 at 10 p.m. Et on Showtime.

The series stars Dunst, Théodore Pellerin, Beth Ditto, Mel Rodriguez, and Ted Levine. Robert Funke and Matt Lutsky created and executive produce the series. George Clooney and Grant Heslov also executive produce under their Smokehouse Pictures banner along with Dunst, Charlie McDowell, and Esta Spalding. Spalding also serves as showrunner while McDowell directed the pilot. Sony’s TriStar TV will produce.

The series was a passion project for the late Suzanne Patmore Gibbs, who was the head of TriStar TV at the time of her death last March.

Showtime has picked up On Becoming A God in Central Florida, a one-hour dark comedy series starring Kirsten Dunst. The project, from George Clooney and Grant Heslov’s Smokehouse Pictures and Sony’s TriStar Television, was ordered to series last year by YouTube to debut this year.

Sony TV started conversations about moving the show elsewhere earlier this year, following the Google-owned company’s programming shift that involves making all original series, originally earmarked for Svod platform YouTube Red/Premium, available as Avod offerings, as well as putting a pin in all new scripted development. According to sources, YouTube and Sony TV were not able to negotiate an Avod deal for On Becoming a God in Central Florida. Showtime has acquired the dark comedy “On Becoming a God in Central Florida” which stars Kirsten Dunst, who will also executive produce with George Clooney.

The project has gone back and forth between cable TV and streaming. It was initially set up at AMC, before moving over to YouTube Premium, which placed a 10-episode order last year.

Dunst stars as Krystal Gill, an Orlando water park employee who schemes her way to the top of a pyramid scheme called Founders American Merchandise, which previously bankrupted her. The series will take place in the early 1990s. Along with Dunst, the series stars Théodore Pellerin, Beth Ditto, Mel Rodriguez and Ted Levine.

Coming To The Stage has been a launch pad for young stand-up comedians to showcase their talents in front of a live studio audience at the Cisco Stage in Burbank, CA. The series premiered on Hulu for seasons 1-5 and then went to Pluto TV for seasons 6-7. It will hit it’s landmark 60th episode with the finale of season 10 and surpass Comedy Central’s iconic stand-up comedy series, Premium Blend, in total seasons. Showtime revealed the full cast list for its upcoming "Twin Peaks" revival, and it's nothing short of insane -- and insanely long.

The new "Twin Peaks" isn't slated to debut on Showtime until 2017, but a flurry of speculation about it happened last week with a tweet from Go For Locations indicating that filming had wrapped on the "first two seasons" of the series.

The episode count for the David Lynch-directed series was always in question, but that tweet suggested we'd be getting even more episodes than originally planned. Said tweet has since been deleted, so we'll have to wait to see how that pans out.
