Film Daily - April 30,1938: Fred C. Quimby, head of the M-G-M cartoon
department, has appointed Milt Gross to take charge of the department's
story division. Gross succeeds Harry Herschfield who was transferred to
the studio's general writing staff.
He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comics Hall of Fame in 2017.
