A co-writer on several Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth musicals, Fessier turned to producing in the 1940s. During the 1950s, he became a television writer, as well as writing novels, short stories and articles that appeared in "The Saturday Evening Post" and "Esquire" magazines.
