Speaking of which, yes, Golden Buzzers are still a thing, with each judge and Terry having two to send acts straight to the Live Shows. Ten lucky acts will bypass the drama! We kicked things off with King Moore, a 9-year-old rapper who apparently started rhyming in first grade. This kid’s got more swag than most adults, confidently spitting out his self-penned tunes. Disney, are you listening? The judges were all in, giving him four big yeses. Next up, Alain Simonov, a Brazilian magician, brought some “emo magic” with multiplying and floating paper.

Grammy winner Tyla hosted the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, June 21st, with The Thundermans: Undercover, A Minecraft Movie, Sabrina Carpenter, Wicked, and Cobra Kai emerging as the big winners. This year’s show, as with every past Kids’ Choice Awards, featured lots of sliming. Fans were also treated to skateboarding stunts by Tony Hawk and Katelyn West, along with performances by Machine Gun Kelly and Katseye.

The 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards took over the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Saturday. The annual slime-filled celebration, hosted by singer Tyla and featuring performances by Machine Gun Kelly and Katseye, included appearances by Jack Black, Auliʻi Cravalho, Benny Blanco, Terry Crews, Ice Spice, and Sza.

Before getting thoroughly gooed, Black was honored with a blimp and named the King of Comedy in recognition of his career. "This is so awesome!" he said, thanking his Nacho Libre costars Anna de la Reguera and Héctor Jiménez, who traveled from Mexico to present him with the award. "It means so much. Grammy Award-winning artist Tyla hosted the slime-filled awards ceremony Saturday night which saw the distribution of 5,000 gallons of the show’s signature green goo.

Carpenter won three awards, including favorite song, favorite female breakout artist and favorite album for Short n’ Sweet. Benson Boone also won favorite male breakout artist, Sza took home favorite female artist and Bruno Mars scored favorite male artist.

In the television categories, The Thundermans: Undercover won favorite kids TV show while Xo, Kitty won favorite family TV show. Kosarin landed favorite kids female TV star for her role in Undercover and Xolo Maridueña won favorite family male TV star for Cobra Kai.

Paramount Pictures also announced that “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2” is delayed. Previously Set For Oct. 9, 2026, the sequel to “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” will now open a year later on Sept. 17, 2027. However, “Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie,” which was previously set for a July 31, 2026 release, is opening wide a week earlier on July 24, 2026.
