The Friday the 13th franchise has no doubt provided us with some of the most beautiful women in horror, and today we’re here to salute the best of the best in no particular order. But I know what you’re thinking. This isn’t going to be some perverted, slack-jawed, drool-fest. We’re here to celebrate these survivors and victims in all their glory. To champion and appreciate their victories over that big, smelly monster truck of a murderer or, in some cases, their horrific demise at his hands. These are the hottest women of the Friday the 13th franchise. Starting with Pamela Voorhees herself. Just kidding. We just wanted to piss Jason off.

Friday the 13th is one of the most famous horror franchises of all time. Millions of fans are familiar with the story of Jason Voorhees, a hockey mask wearing murderer with a machete. When Jason was 11 years old, he accidentally drowned at Camp Crystal Lake when the counselors weren't paying attention. He swears his revenge as a result, and in each movie, he ups the ante with creative, brutal kills, often of partying teenagers.

Not counting the original where his mother Pamela Voorhees was the killer, Jason has been the main antagonist throughout the Friday the 13th series. Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI reached the 37th anniversary of its theatrical release on August 1st. Four days earlier, July 28th was the 34th anniversary of the release of Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. And the folks at Sadist Art Designs have decided to celebrate both of these films by unveiling new Jason Lives and Jason Takes Manhattan T-shirt designs!

Both shirts are available with or without side seams, and while the Jason Lives shirt is only available in black, the Jason Takes Manhattan shirt comes in a variety of colors. Nearly a decade has passed since Amy Grant last released a complete solo studio album of original music. The past ten years have been littered with compilation records, holiday albums, and remastered releases of her projects dating back to the eighties. In the meantime, the Christian singer has continued touring, that is, until she sustained a concussion and brain injuries following a biking accident in July 2022, forcing her to cancel a slate of shows.

Amy Grant suffered a concussion and was unconscious for ten minutes after falling during a July bike ride, according to reports.

The singer announced Friday that her remaining tour dates for the summer and early fall would be postponed as a consequence.

Initial reports indicated Grant suffered “cuts and abrasions” in her fall. News of the concussion puts a new spin on what occurred, and explains why an ambulance and the subsequent postponement of husband Vince Gill’s tour dates happened.

“Friends, we regretfully need to postpone Amy’s previously scheduled tour dates in September and October due to Amy needing more time to recover from injuries and a concussionsustained in a bicycling accident that occurred in Nashville on July 27, 2022,” her team wrote in a statement.

Grant previously postponed August shows immediately after the accident. All postponed dates will be rescheduled for February through April 2023, the statement said.

Amy Grant is putting her health first. On Friday, the 61-year-old singer’s management team announced that she is postponing her previously scheduled tour dates in September and October “due to needing more time to recover from injuries and a concussion sustained in a bicycling accident that occurred in Nashville on July 27.”

“Amy is getting stronger every day. Just as she did after her heart surgery, we are amazed at how fast she heals,” Grant’s manager, Jennifer Cooke, said in a statement. “However, although she is doing much better, we have made the difficult decision to postpone her fall tour so she can concentrate on her recovery and rebuild her stamina. She wants to be able to give 100 when she tours and, unfortunately, we do not think that will be the case by the time rehearsals would start for the fall dates.”

Chicago – The reboot of “Friday the 13th” was another financially successful notch in the belt of Platinum Dunes, the film company behind the remakes of “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “The Hitcher,” and “The Amityville Horror”. Making $90 million worldwide and more domestically than any previous Jason Voorhees movie (that didn’t include Freddy Krueger), “Friday the 13th” has a following that will be ecstatic with the excellent Blu-Ray release for the slasher title.

Blu-Ray Rating: 3.5/5.0 The Blu-Ray of “Friday the 13th” delivers everything fans could ask for. Not only do they present a longer and better cut of the film in the 9-minutes-longer “Extended Cut,” but the special features enhance the “Friday the 13th” experience and the technical transfer is nearly flawless.
