Has played the same role, that of Mr. Alderson, in two separate versions of "All Creatures Great and Small", the feature film (1975) and the BBC TV Series (1978-1983).

Craggy British supporting actor, a former real estate salesman. Began in the business as an assistant stage manager, before turning to acting. Often seen in TV cop shows of the 1960's and 70's.
