Hyderabad, Feb 20 (Ians) Leading Tollywood personalities, top politicians and a large number of fans paid their last respects to actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna here on Monday.

The mortal remains were brought to Telugu Film Chambers in Jubilee Hills from his residence at Mokila on the city outskirts to enable people to pay their last respects.

The last rites of Taraka Ratna, grandson of legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N.T. Rama Rao, has to be performed on Monday evening.

The young actor breathed his last on the night of February 18 at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences in Bengaluru where he was admitted on January 27 after he suffered a massive cardiac arrest.

He had collapsed during the padyatra of his cousin and Telugu Desam Party (Tdp) leader Nara Lokesh at Kuppam in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. After battling for 23 days, he succumbed on Saturday. He was 39.

Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda has launched the hilarious theatrical trailer of Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan’s first Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, titled ‘Prince’.

The trailer gives away the fact that the film’s plot is centred around the love story of an Indian guy and an English girl and the problems that arise because of it.

Both Sivakarthikeyan and Maria Ryaboshapka are colleagues in a school. Although Sivakarthikeyan’s father (played by Sathyaraj), who is a social reformer, gives his nod, there are other obstacles to the love story.

Hyderabad, Nov 20: Telugu film industry will soon be adopting immersive audio technology Auro 11.1 by Barco sound, to give a new experience to the moviegoers.

'Race Gurram' will be the first Telugu movie to adopt the next-generation three-layer sound technology from Auro Technologies, powered by digital cinema pioneer Barco.

The movie being produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and directed by Surender Reddy stars Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan.

About 100 cinema theatres in Andhra Pradesh will adopt the latest audio technology by the end of this year. This was announced by Suresh Babu, managing director, Suresh Productions at a.

Riteish Deshmukh has always been known for his impeccable comic timing. Keeping this in mind, the actor has agreed to be a part of a film called Filmy Picture which is a spoof of sorts on many classic Bollywood films.

The film is being produced by D Suresh Babu under his banner Suresh Productions. Interestingly, the film is a remake of a super hit Telugu Film Sudigadu which was also remade in Tamil as Thamizh Padam that also became a blockbuster. The spoofs in the Telugu and Tamil versions were on respective film industries and now it is the chance of Bollywood films to be spoofed in the Hindi remake.

Hyderabad, July 24: Telugu flick "Eega" producer Suresh Babu is yet to take a decision on making a Hindi version of the animation movie in 3-D.

"The tests are going on but we are yet to take a final call," he told reporters here Tuesday.

Suresh Productions, which co-produced "Eega", plans to release the Hindi version of the film, Makhi, across 500 screens in August-September.

Bangalore, June 25: Bilingual animation film "Eega", claimed to be southern cinema's most technologically superior movie, will be dubbed in Hindi, which will be converted into 3D version, says producer Suresh Babu.

The socio-fantasy film, releasing worldwide in Tamil and Telugu July 6 with 1,200 prints, is written and directed by S.S.Rajamouli.

Conversion technology is being used to make the 3D version of the movie, said the filmmakers at a press meet here.
