Uses scores of wigs to recreate different looks and characters. She has three basic colors of wigs that she uses all the time. The red has won her a lot of work on TV and film, the blonde is often used for commercials, and the darker wig is for more ethnic parts.

Played "Gloria" on the second pilot ("Those Were the Days" (1969)) for All in the Family (1971). Kelly Jean Peters played "Gloria" on the first pilot ("And Justice for All" (1968)) before Sally Struthers was finally selected.

Studied voice, speech, poetry, ballet, opera and acting classes with Lee Strasberg in her early years.

Appeared on Broadway, including "Lovers and Other Strangers," written by Renée Taylor and Joseph Bologna. They went on to hire her for the TV sitcom Calucci's Department (1973), which starred the late James Coco.

In 1975 Candice was hired by Mike Nichols for a featured role in a film called "Bogart Slept Here" . The casting Director was Alan Shayne. They paid her for her part ...but they stopped filming. Anne Bancroft saw Candice in a Commerical...and said.."I want to work with her"...They first did a workshop Movie for AFI called "Fatso " with Dom Deluise...Then Anne called and asked Candice to be one of the Star's in the Movie.."Fatso'..for 20th Century Fox.

Candice Azzara Starred along side with Charlton Heston, Mariette Hartley, Keith Carradine, John Schuck, Ron Rifkin,Hugh Gillin and Mary Wickes in "Detective Story" at Center Theatre Group/ Ahmanson Theatre, in California. Director was Paul Giovanni.

Candice Azzara and Michael Conley wrote a Comedy Book called "God, Please Give me Patience and Hurry!" They had their book signing at Barnes and Noble in New York City.

Candice Azzara and Armand Assante played lovers twice. When they where young in 1969 in a Pre- Broadway play- Directed by Joshua Logan starring Imogene Coca (David Merrick Production) Then in 1977 in Kojack in "Caper on a Quiet Street".

Has twice played characters who are romantically involved with a fat man: Fatso (1980) & Dinero fácil (1983).
