In 1995 Chetan Anand had decided to make the film Hasraton Ke Daag with Mithun Chakraborthy ,Sushant Singh ,Madhoo. He dropped the idea due to his ill health.

Nephew Acha Anand worked as production controller with Navketen. He was the son of Chetan's brother Manmohan Anand.
