Was the first witness on the scene of Bonny Bakely's murder on May 4, 2001. Robert Blake knocked on the door of his Studio City apartment asking for help after finding his wife's body in his car. According to testimony during the preliminary hearings for Blake's murder trial, Stanek rushed to the crime scene and tried to assist Bakely, who was bleeding from a head wound.

At just 10 years old, Sean survived a brutal leopard attack while working on the Las Vegas Strip in the show Hallelujah Hollywood. The leopard, part of Siegfried and Roy's famed magic act, escaped backstage and lunged at Sean, pouncing on his back as he tried to flee. His mother heroically intervened-grabbing his arms and dragging him away from the animal's jaws, striking the leopard in the face until it released him. Sean sustained 14 deep bites to his neck, narrowly avoiding paralysis, and spent nearly three weeks recovering in the hospital.
