Lauderhill, Florida, Aug 25 (Ians) The Texas Chargers registered a big win on an important day, as they defeated the Atlanta Riders by 22 runs on Friday. The Chargers were the dominant unit on the day, as they swatted away the challenge from the Riders with relative ease.

Batting first, the Texas Chargers got off to a good start as Mukhtar Ahmed took the attack to the bowlers, while Mohammad Hafeez played the waiting game. Ahmed got 17 from 7 before being dismissed.

Lauderhill (US), Aug 23 (Ians) After Sohail Khan’s four wickets in four deliveries, Jonathan Carter turned on the style with the bat as New York Warriors wrapped up a comprehensive 6-wicket win over the Atlanta Riders in US Masters T20 match.

Carter completed the chase with two sixes of the final two deliveries of the game and Sohail was awarded the Player of the Match.

Texas, US, June 8 (Ians) The cricketing action in Major League Cricket (Mlc) will get underway from July 13 with former Australian skipper Aaron Finch, Marcus Stoinis and Wanindu Hasaranga among top players featuring in the showpiece event.

According to an official statement from Major League Cricket (Mlc), the tournament will feature many of the best T20 players from around the world in its inaugural season playing alongside the strongest domestic talent in the United States.
