When playing Mr. Bronson, who taught French, in the BBC's Grange Hill (1978), he could not speak French, so his wife rewrote all of his French lines phonetically, so that he could pronounce them correctly.

A soap, like Gente de barrio (1985), that is an actor's graveyard. They end up there and can never get out, and recently lots of actors have returned there because they just find that they can't get other roles as they are so well remembered for that part.
