Crowned the coveted title of "Miss Scotland" at the age of seventeen.

Nominated for the Johnnie Walker® Blue Label Great Scot Award for her "Outstanding Contribution to Entertainment" (2011). The award was established to celebrate Scots who have excelled in their individual fields.

Kirsty Mitchell's portrayal of "Queen Boudica" was the highest rated episode of the Barbarians Rising (2016) limited series event, which was broadcast in over 185 territories around the world though the summer and into the fall of 2016.

Portrayed the on-screen mother of Emilia Clarke in the TV movie Triassic Attack (2010) and Kerry Ingram in the limited series Barbarians Rising (2016); both of whom appear in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011).

Starred in Loch Lomond: Legend of the Loch (2000), the first applauded example of dramatic story-telling produced in the IMAX format and also recorded lead vocals for the soundtrack.
