Michael is an accomplished fine artist; he and his wife Ilka own and operate McGrady Fine Art.

He is an advanced rated hang glider pilot and has enjoyed flying his glider at various locations around the world.

Married to Ilka McGrady from 2006 to present. He has three children from a previous marriage: Michaela, Hunter, Tynan.

He is the lead singer and guitarist for his band, The Sonic Groove Band, performing throughout the Los Angeles and Ventura areas.

He is a sought after public and motivational speaker. He was recently invited to be the keynote speaker for the University of Pennsylvania's, Abramson Cancer Research Center's focus on melanoma.

His artwork is represented by several galleries in the United States, Europe, and Mexico.

He enjoys renovating his own homes. He completely renovated his ranch house on 11 acres in the Malibu Hills.

He splits his time between living in Southern California and a vacation home in Washington State.
