It’s been almost a month since production began on Paradise Season 2, and naturally, fans are enthusiastically awaiting loads of info about the new chapter. Most recently, one such detail, as seen on the show’s official Instagram page, is the return of Sterling K. Brown’s Xavier Collins, who looks quite battered, posing with a clapperboard. Collins is one of several characters set to make a comeback in the new season, which began filming on March 28, as confirmed by series creator Dan Fogelman on social media.

“Sterling K. Brown is back on set for season 2!” the new post’s caption read. "You ABSolutely need to swipe.” Brown may be worse for wear in one of the images, but that’s not the case for the others, as he puts his eye-catching, toned physique on display. Sarah Michelle Gellar is staying extremely busy: The actress — who recurs on Dexter: Original Sin and is set to reprise her titular role in Hulu’s potential Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot — will star in and executive-produce the series Bad Summer People, our sister site Deadline reports.

The project — which is in development at A+E Studios and does not yet have a network/streamer attached — is based on Emma Rosenblum’s novel. The official book description follows:

The next chapter in the story of Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) just got a thrilling update. Deadline reports that Mission: Impossible and Percy Jackson and the Olympians star Timothy Omundson has joined the Paradise Season 2 cast, alongside S.W.A.T. star Michael McGrady. Both stars reportedly play recurring roles that tie directly into Agent Xavier Collins’ story, but specifics about their characters are being kept under wraps. This news comes not long after Paradise Season 2 kicked off production and also cast other stars such as Shailene Woodley and Thomas Doherty in recurring roles. Hulu has yet to set an official release date for Paradise Season 2, but it is expected to premiere sometime in 2026. There has been no word on if James Marsden will return as President Cal Bradford.

In this exclusive preview of Thursday night’s episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), confronts a woman who has been covering up her boss Frank’s sexual assaults on young female employees for years.

Grace (guest star Lucy Owen) is the Chief Operating Officer at the company and tells Benson she will not testify against her boss (played by guest star David Alan Basche) and that paying off his victim is just “the price of doing business.”

“Just checking to see if you have got a conscience,” Benson tells Grace, who does not want to lose the “big chunk of equity” she has in the company.

“It is a hell of an incentive,” Benson says. “But I think that you know how he uses young women in your office for his own gain.”

She tells Grace, “I understand what it means to be a woman in a male-dominated field.

Denise Richards is moving into the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills neighborhood.

The actress has joined the cast of the Bravo reality series for Season 9, she tells People. Richards will appear alongside returning Housewives Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Dorit Kemsley.

“I am so excited to join the cast… I am a huge fan of the show,” Richards told People, adding that she’s “looking forward to spending time with all the ladies.”

Season 9 is slated to air later this year.

Michael McGrady (Ray Donovan) and Ruffin Prentiss (The Arrangement) are set for recurring roles on the second season of CBS’ military drama series Seal Team.

McGrady will play Commanding Officer Harrington, a confident and skilled mentor to members of Bravo team. Having been a Tier One operator himself, the wisdom he carries from both in and out of the field is invaluable.

Prentiss will portray Summer Kairos, the team’s new Eod (Explosives Ordinance Disposal) tech.

Seal Team, starring David Boreanaz, follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous missions that our country can ask of them.

New Season 2 showrunner John Glenn will executive produce alongside Christopher Chulack, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly. Seal Team is produced by CBS Television Studios and Timberman-Beverly.

McGrady is known for his recurring role of Ray Barnes on Ray Donovan.

In a Gold Derby exclusive, we have learned the category placements of the key Emmy Awards contenders for Showtime. For this season, the premium network has newcomers “The Chi” (Jason Mitchell) and “Smilf” (Frankie Shaw), returning Emmy contenders “Homeland” (Claire Danes) and “Shameless” (William H. Michael McGrady (Ray Donovan) has joined the cast of NBC’s hit series Chicago P.D. as a recurring for the remainder of Season 5.

McGrady will play Assistant State’s Attorney James Osha. He’s a Chicago prosecutor described as formidable, ambitious, and intelligent. Osha is someone who can easily grab a beer and hang with the cops he rubs elbows with. He’s been around the block and has worked a deal or two in the past that he might not be proud of. He’ll play a crucial role in the battle between Voight (Jason Beghe) and Woods (guest star Mykelti Williamson) that has waged on throughout this season.

McGrady is known his recurring role of Frank Barnes on Showtime’s Ray Donovan and Sanford Pringle in Hulu’s Chance. He was most recently seen as Tom Matthews in Freeform’s Beyond. McGrady is repped by Talentworks and Industry Entertainment.

Beyond will not be coming back for a third season on Freeform. 

According to Deadline, Freeform has canceled the sci-fi drama after just two seasons at the network.

Beyond followed Holden Matthews who learns he has supernatural abilities after waking up from a 12-year coma and is forced to confront a deadly conspiracy that may cost him his life. 

The series starred Burkely Duffield, Dilan Gwyn, Jordan Calloway, Jonathan Whitesell and Michael McGrady. 

Beyond was part of a new direction for Freeform when it debuted in January 2017. The network took the unprecedented decision of releasing all ten episodes of the first season online.

It apparently worked because the network noted that 14 million people tuned in to watch the show during its first week of being available. 

As expected, the live ratings were not healthy as a result of this decision.

“Beyond” has been canceled at Freeform after two seasons, Variety has confirmed.

The one-hour drama follows a young man who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and discovers new supernatural abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy. The series starred Burkely Duffield, Dilan Gwyn, Jordan Calloway, Jonathan Whitesell, Michael McGrady, Romy Rosemont, Jeff Pierre, and Eden Brolin.

The series hailed from Imperative Entertainment and Automatik. It was created, written and executive produced by Adam Nussdorf. Tim Kring, Zak Kadison, Justin Levy and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones served as executive producers.

The Season 2 finale of “Beyond” aired last week. The series struggled in the Nielsen Live+Same Day ratings during its second season, with a per episode average of just a 0.08 rating in adults 18-49 and 244,000 viewers per episode. That represents a drop off of nearly 50% in the key demo and over 50% in total viewers compared to the show’s first season.

Holden Matthews’ paranormal adventures have come to an end with the cancellation of Freeform’s Beyond, TVLine has confirmed.

The network has decided not to renew the sci-fi drama series, which wrapped its second season earlier this month. Our sister site Deadline was the first to report the news.

Beyond starred Burkeley Duffield as Holden, a young man who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and discovers new abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy. Now Holden must try and figure out what happened to him during those 12 years; how to survive a world that changed while he was gone; and answer the question, why did this happen to him? The recently concluded second season of Beyond saw ratings fall about 50% from Season 1.

Funny or Die has released a funny Star Wars short film called Storm: A Star Wars Indie. The film centers on a "Stormtrooper named Ian feels his life is missing something, it takes a Rodian named Teedo to fill the missing piece of his heart."

Eden Brolin has been cast to recur as Charlie on the upcoming Beyond TV show, on Freeform. Her character is described as a cool, confident young woman, with a tough exterior. She never backs down from a fight. Brolin joins the Beyond cast, including stars Burkley Duffield, Romy Rosemont, Michael McGrady, Jonathan Whitesell, Dilan Gwyn, and Jeff Pierre.

Charlie meets Holden (Burkely Duffield) when he is trying to figure out what happened during the dozen years he was in a coma. Brolin's character appears halfway through the first season. Beyond marks Brolin's first TV series role. The supernatural drama is set to premiere on Freeform in early 2017.
