He and his wife Lucie Arnaz have toured with each other in theatrical productions such as Neil Simon's "They're Playing Our Song". They both won an Emmy Award for Best Outstanding Informative Special as executive producers for the documentary movie Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie (1993).

Has written and performed in several one-man stage shows based upon the lives of U.S. president Theodore Roosevelt, immortal U.S. lawyer Clarence Darrow, and immortal author Ernest Hemingway. Has also performed around the United States in his one-man stage show based upon the life of U.S. president Lyndon B. Johnson.

Received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre (acting) from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas (1958). Received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Playwriting from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. (1958). Attended New York University (1980) and studied drama at HB Studio in Greenwich Village, New York City.

In the early 1970s, he was a commercial spokesperson for Trans World Airlines (TWA), appearing in several television commercials for the United States airline.

Formerly resided with his wife Lucie Arnaz in Katonah, New York and maintained a work office in nearby Ridgefield, Connecticut.

Currently resides with his wife Lucie Arnaz in Fairfield County's Weston, Connecticut. (octubre de 2012)
