- Was cast in the 1976 film Carry on England (1976) as a replacement for series regular Barbara Windsor.
- Met her second husband, actor Derek James, when they appeared together in the West End production of "Hair".
- Formed the short-lived 1970s girl group Rock Bottom with Annabel Leventon and Gaye Brown. Leventon, Brown, and Langton won their case against Thames TV in the High Court in 1982 "for ripping of Rock Bottom to produce Rock Follies [that year] ... All three actresses were given substantial damages and Thames TV was found to be in breach of confidence 'in using the idea, in making and screening the two Rock Follies series'".
- Trained at the Corona Academy and started her professional career as a dancer.
