- Jyoti Shinde lives a middle-classed lifestyle in Pune along with her parents. . While in college, she was friendly with a fellow-collegian, Sachin Mhatre. Afer college they parted but meet again after five years, and fall in love. Sachin tells her that he is a computer engineer, and she invites him and three of his friends, Bantu, Akki, and Bholu, to her 20th birthday party. During the party, she introduces Sachin to her parents, who approve of him, and both continue to meet. Jyoti does not realize that one day soon her life as well as the lives of her parents will be turned upside down when Assistant Commission of Police, Akhlaq Khan visits them and tells them Sachin and all of his friends are not who they claim to be but are actually gangsters belonging to Badshah Khan's gang, and all are wanted not only by the police, but also by a rival gangster, Raghu Patil.
