Verona Avenue is a peaceful cul de sac, or so Thabang and Felecia think when they move in. They soon find out that living next door to Allison is more about show then being a good neighbour.

Allison and Jonathan are forced to team up when dinner guests that neither want arrive. Brian causes problems at school that places him in a precarious position and expectations are rarely met when insecurities are given room to grow.

Jessica has to find the strength in herself to be able to go forward but uses Brian as a crutch to help her along the way. Brent's reasoning for quick fixes is uncovered and two households live out fantasies to disastrous effect.

Daniel gets a surprise visit that causes huge disruption in his house. Thabang throws caution to the wind after problems at home with Felecia. Allison discovers that her social status is quickly crumbling in front of her.

Allison struggles to maintain the facade of the perfect house after Brian runs into trouble and the past comes to haunt her. Moretua is forced to rely on Felecia when Felecia discovers her secret.

Thabang's broken relationship with Felecia lays the ground for a solid relationship elsewhere. Brent and Michael's friendship takes strain as the living dynamics heat up. Jessica discovers new love and thus saves herself from any further torture from Adam.

Jessica is forced to make a decision as Brian covers for them to their parents. Daniel finally gets some help with the raising of Tsepho and Jonathan's job is at risk with the outcome of a case.

There's no such thing as coming second in Verona Avenue. You either win or lose and the complexities of relationships come to a head over simple things such as watching the game or going to the book club.

One night stands rarely seem to be the same the morning after as Brent discovers the hard way and Jessica's secret is discovered by someone in the Cilliers home.

Unwelcome visitors pop up in Brent and Thabang's life, both want to get rid of them as quickly as possible. Daniel needs to deal with the destruction of the family unit and make a plan to bring them all together properly. Allison observes each household dealing with problems and tries to solve it.

The sanctity of Verona Avenue is destroyed after each household is forced to deal with surprises and covering of the truth as they each take responsibility for their part in it.

Allison throws a community braai to uplift everyone's spirits but it causes more drama then upliftment as Mangethe's true motives are revealed and Jonathan loses control.

Brent loses further faith in relationships; Tsepho doesn't believe his dad because he chooses work over him again and Daniel loses faith in his ability as a father. Thabang needs to go after what he wants and Brian's downward spiral escalates.

Allison's meddling ways show up Daniel's inability to raise his son and causes more conflict in the Phute house. Thabang discovers working late one weekend that there's more at stake then previously known.

Jonathan is left to deal with the consequences of his actions. Thabang loses his love in the name of marriage and Daniel abandons work commitments to be more present in his home with his family.

The repercussion of a hidden truth results in neither Michael nor Thabang getting what they want and Moretua takes a turn for the worse as her hidden truth is revealed.

Every beginning has an end as a family is torn apart and the end approaches for another. All the homes along the picturesque Verona Avenue are going to have to pick up the pieces if they wish to move on.

The picture perfect family is destroyed in the uncovering of a truth. Frank continues to infiltrate the Cilliers family, while Michael is forced to learn from his mistakes and Thabang rejects the truth in order to maintain his image.

Allison starts taking measures to protect her family and bring them back together so that they will be able to move on. Through loss comes reconciliation for the most desperate of men in Verona Avenue.

Assumptions cause the most problems as is clearly seen with Allison, Michael and Thabang tonight as they deal with the loss of control within their lives.

An unexpected visitor, an unexpected truth and an unexpected joy will make those on Verona Avenue say good bye to the known and embrace the unknown - whether they want to or not.

An area of peace and beauty is no longer the case as the haven of Verona Avenue becomes a shadow filled and uninviting neighborhood where neighbors all wish for a way to take back the past.
