The dramatic story of a successful, egotistic man whose family life is wrecked practically overnight, is set in present-day Prague. A disappointed, deserted man, after his divorce, is alone with his sensitive teenage daughter Klara. When he finds out that she is having an affair with an older man, he can no longer control his state of mind. After the daughter's suicide, the man turns into a murderer.

Milan Ruzicka uses uncompromising humor and simplified caricatures to develop a tale common in the Czech Republic in the beginning of nineties. A Czech-American (Miroslav Donutil) returns to the country of his birth after November 1989 to see to the restitution of family property. He runs into freeloaders, con artists, and other similar elements.

Comedy/drama set in early 90s ex-pat scene in Prague. Follows 8 main charactors going through exciting period after velvet revolution.
