SWEET LORDY ALMIGHTY, that was frickin brilliant. Not only is this gorgeous piece of art a wonderful Wet dream but it is also a love letter to the departure for 20th Century Fox's Marvel Films. I am so happy to say that this extraordinary team up is as brilliant as we hoped and dreamt it will be. The fight scenes are brutal to the point where you wouldn't even think of the fatalities that are being committed. I am so happy that Disney kept the R-Rating for Deadpool and allowed Shawn levy and Ryan Reynolds to have so much creative freedom. I hope that we can see more of him in the MCU's future.
OH HECK YEA, what a return for the bad boys, I was genuinely laughing my balls off the entire time. Every moment was filled with hilarious remarks and moments that blew me away. The audience that was with me had a blast and recognized every nod to the previous films. The dynamic between Will and Martin are brilliant held to together from this bond created by the love that is left from this franchise. I honestly believe that Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah were excellent choices to continue this series, the cinematography felt unreal. In some scenes it felt like I was watching a first person shooter and other scenes I felt like I was watching brutalities that would be in a John wick movie. After this I would love to see where they take the story although for now, this was a great place to end the Ride.
Wow, just wow, that was such a wild ride. The films choreography and fighting techniques truly demonstrated a gruesome story that brings the relevance of growth through inexperience and corruption while having unique fatalities. I loved how they quoted John Wick while keeping this film its own thing story wise and combat wise, it brought a different level of gruesome nature for the audience to experience. After viewing this film for the first time I have got to say that Jordan peele made the right decision to find Dev Patel's story. It was a Brilliant directorial debut and I hope that he continues to make more stories for the modern audience to enjoy.
