If you want a movie that is great for background noise, this is your movie.

I lost interest in it about 15 min in. The context wasn't as deep as I expected. The first encounter was lackluster at best. If I could write more about the movie I would but as I said I lost interest early. I checked emails, texts, even did some shopping on line. I received a 25 minute call from my son and after returning to the show I did not feel I lost any content.

I do not reveal any spoilers because I can't remember any.

To me this movie is a mash up of science fiction/alien movies from the 1960's thru Close Encounters if the Third kind.

I hope this review does not conflict with the User Review Guidelines.

The opening said was based on facts. Why was the movie not filmed in Eastern Kentucky?

The jumping required me to watch it again to pickup the story line better.

If I were able to pay more attention, I wouldn't have had to watch it a second time.

The basic premise to me would have been better if it were a documentary. Maybe even a miniseries.

More time given to the background as it relates to the story. I would have wanted more history on the Charlie Crowe character. This along with more history on the shadow people, when the stories were first written down.

If the movie comes on again I may watch it again.

Was not impressed with this latest installment of Lord of the rings franchise. I quit watching after a few minutes, because it failed to keep my attention. Not even a good movie for background noise. To me, the actors seemed to stiff and not comfortable with their roles. The wardrobe choices for the actress was below what I came to expect from this series. The cgi needed more work on color and texture to make it more realistic. I hope the future offerings for this or other lord of the rings is edited better. There are other good movies on to watch do yourself a favor and watch them. I do not expect this review to be posted.
