The city poor were not farmers and had no $$ to invest, and skill to start up. No wonder people went crazy. You still had Indians and bandits in some areas as well. The politics are dark red. I just dont get the high reviews for this. Harrison Ford is a character,not an actor. I also fail to get the muddled timeline with the Dutton family. John , the ex Confederate father and the mother reached Montana in 1883. Then the father died? His brother came to Montana and found the mother frozen dead too? So who is HArrison Ford? What happened to the kid John?
