Ensign Gamble gies on his first away trip and is certainly one to remember.
Nurse Chapel and Roger Korby have discovered an ancient archeological site. One that can provide answers to immortality. Only something malevolent is unleashed.
Finally Star Trek encounters a strange new world. There is body horror, although if Dr M'Benga can regenerate eyes, why was Geordi La Forge still remain blind many decades later?
I liked that there was something strange and evil lurking. Captain Pike should be giving a piece of his mind to Korby for being sop reckless.
The episode was obviously inspired by Nu Doctor Who as well as the Alien movies/Prometheus prequel.

The directors of Eastern Insurance could be facing financial turmoil.
A series of burglaries up and down Britain has left them with huge losses.
There have been six safe robberies, all recently installed by one particular safe company.
Many of the installed in companies run by the Filow family.
Maybe a member of the Filow family is up to no good.
John Hunter discovers that it is likely to be someone who once worked for the safe company who remembered the combinations.
Well once again Eastern seems to be slow on the uptake. Of course it was going to be an insider within the safe manufacturers.
At least there was a decent twist.

There is a doubled murder featuring bon vivre Isobel Hewitt (Honor Blackman) and womanising doctor womanising doctor named Duncan Goff (Richard Durden.)
Despite her zest for life and high living. Isobel was not as wealthy she made out to be.
She also got in a ruck with Margaret Seagrove (Susan Wooldridge) who accused of Isobel of cheating in fly fishing.
While Dr Goff once had an affair with Ruth Scholey, now her husband Keith has found out.
DI Barnaby regards Keith as the main suspect but he is later found dead.
There are no shortage of suspects and motives but this story takes a while to get going.
The sixth series also seems to offer an opportunity to have veteran actors steal some scenes. Here Honor Blackman has that honour.
